Actually injury also. He was starting to play really well and went into the boards and had a leg injury. Literally right after Fox was gushing over him every game. He rushed back early for playoffs and ended up being scratched and has not been the same since. Hasnt really sniffed NHL ice since.

Pretty impressed with Blake this off-season. Got the center position dealt with & LD with Gavrikov. Banished Cal to the East coast. Picked up some cheap depth & put the team in a position to be able to take a shot at the deadline.

Kept the top two lines from last year intact & potentially put a 3rd line together.

Don't see the point of losing our minds over depth signings.

Vegas played last year with one of their 10M players on IR the whole time & people are freaking out that King's have to play with sub optimal goaltending? Ok.

Korpisalo signing 4AAV for 5 years is not the way to fix the goaltending position.

Have some adult beverages & enjoy Canada Day.

dorion didn't sign talbot because he wanted 2 years also.. then talbot signs 1 year deferred here

not sure if that's a reflection of dorion or talbot's agent to be honest

Actually, just went back and watched Enguland's fight. He beat Watson and had a draw vs Koelesar.

The only beating I saw he took was our own Jacob Doty in the AHL for the Turcotte hit.

Yeah I mean it’s easy to understand that 3 of the 4 players we drafted 3 centers and One dman that our center line up is looking like

Danault
Lizzotte.

So let’s go through your list and let me say that some people in here really don’t know what the f*** they’re talking about, about some of the signings..
Englund is here to muck it up and throw hits, I think his salary is too high but it’s ok as you mentioned..
Trevor Lewis is still a really good 4th line player that checks, hit and PK’s.. as for the hits portion he was over 120 hits last season, quickly name the Kings who had more??

Cam Talbot is an asshole but a much better tender than Copley, Korpi and Quick.. you want to talk about his season with the Sens, a shit team where he still put up a better save percentage than our guys with a much, much worse defense.. here’s looking at you Jakob Chychrun

This team is literally better than seasons, will it be enough? Unlikely but that’s why they play the games and why you make trades.
