Speculation: LA Kings Offseason Thread

Start the season with Bjornfot at #3 LD. If he can make the grade, trade him at the deadline for that physical LD who can barely tie his shoes. If he doesn't, try Movarare at LD and same story. I think the latter can be the # 7D.

Rather move Moore but I doubt he has any trade value with that new massive contract.

We want the kids to have a shot. It’s time to for Byfield and Kaliyev to put on their big boy pants.

If Turcotte could stay healthy he'd be wayy better and cheaper than Moore.

Kings were bullied by Oilers and they didn't get any tougher moving out Durzi, Edler, Kupari, Vilardi, Walker, and Peterson for just PLD.

I’d rather go the FA route than trade Bjornfot. There are ample options that will be available once free agency commences come July 1.

You could look at a potentially cheaper option like Broissoit or Reimer or go with someone that would presumably cost more like Varlamov or Andersen.

I think it’s a musical chairs game so you might be able to snag someone on a short term friendly deal.

We had too much of this last season, hope to start this one with our D and goaltending in place.
