Right, I was referencing that. Last night in...some thread?...I had mentioned it seems like a waste to have almost exactly those players just sitting on the bench until the NHL break with Reign games going on before and during, but I expected them to get reign games in over those two weeks. This is just them going back even sooner--which is good! They got to see NYC with the team, play a few games, and practice, but they could use the big minutes over sitting around for another 14 days.

FWIW, I think the system they run on the PK sucks.
They were giving up pp goals in bunches early in the season and I thought that would get sorted out and the numbers would get better but the low forward always seems to be out of position unable to block cross ice passes.
It's actually looking worse than it did earlier.
They might need faster/quicker forwards on the PK.

All the griping about Kopitar and the special teams is 100% justified - even if some of evidence presented is not always correct. None of it impugns Kopi - only how he is being used. It all points to egregious failures in the coaching staff in terms of systems and deployment of personnel.

Eh, Friedman has developed a habit of blending his opinions with what he is hearing. I remember a few huge swings and misses from Friedman last year. He's probably better than Dreger, but he is no Bobby Margarita.
