I remember one shift where he just constantly pummeled, a lot more of this thing where the puck just explodes off his stick, opposing D continuously breaking up any move he tries....and then ultimately he had an opportunity to redeem himself in the shootout and can't even get a shot off.

yes, overall the line was good...but I've seen Byfield play better.

I thought he had a couple of good stick cheques last night and was not afraid of taking a hit to make a play.
There are going to be good and bad with all youth, nothing really stuck out to me last night on either side with him

It didn't look so bad when it happened - he didn't seem to be in much pain but definitely couldn't put any weight on it. These injuries can be so hard to guess.

And Arvidsson and Mikey Anderson's did not look so bad, either.

Frk made the biggest mistake of his career scoring that goal :sarcasm: But yeah, hopefully, they are just saving cap money.

Has to be that. I'm a big Frk supporter so I hope he gets some time with the big club, especially on the PP where he shines.

When does Ontario play? Do they need the bodies before LA plays tomorrow?

Ontario doesn't play until Friday. These are likely just paper transactions for cap reasons, unless LA knows a few guys are coming back from injury.

Shit, mine as well put Durzi as 1st line C, throw Quick on the wing.......makes about as much sense.

Is there the need to make the extra little pot shot comments?

And what is so awful about his lines? The first line has been awful as has the third line, the 2nd and 4th have been great but two guys are injured on it. Kempe has been bad for 10 games now, Iafallo has been awful for a half a season, why do they automatically get to keep first line roles? With so many new guys up why is it so ridiculous to blender up the lines?

This is starting to remind me of one of those Andy Murray seasons the Kings had either broke or came close to breaking to record for man games lost. A lot of us starting pointing fingers at the medical / training staff.

None of these injuries are training staff related though. I don't think TM could push the players that hard anyway. Murray was pre-cap.
