Plonk!

Should target Crouse and Chariot. This team will get wrecked vs physical teams.
These young kids want to make an impact and stay up? Maybe try standing up for your teammates when say Quick gets ran over but Bennett. It is important to play smart and pick your spots, but a "fight" that is more of a hugging match would still be noticed by the team.
Chariot is soon to be 31, an UFA, and apparently will require a significant return. Absolutely notShould target Crouse and Chariot. This team will get wrecked vs physical teams.
must be the most miserable person to have that kind of response from a line shuffling post. absolutely nuts.
Durzi is the perfect example of a guy who is making his own case for not being sent down.Pretty sure Duzi and Kempe were in his grill most of the night after that play. Durzi kept trying to start something every time Bennett got near him, but he backed away and won't engage.
Kempe trashed talked the crap at him after we tied it too, which was pretty funny. .
I f***ing love Durzi and I hope he starts taking lessons from a UFC fighter in the offseason otherwise that wheelbarrow full of balls he carries is gonna get him f***ed up by someone much bigger
Maybe, but he's the kind you need on a team....he's never gonna fully engage in a full on tilt, nor should he, he's almost like the D version of a shit....can't remember his name, that idiot up in Vancouver who went to OTT..... that guy.....real shit disturber, but can play hockey.....difference between those guys and a few guys back in the day who could fight like hell, but couldn't play
Oh absolutely. It's not an argument against Durzi in anyway...it's an argument for more team toughness so Durzi doesn't have to be that guy because with his attitude he'll step up if no one else does.
Are you thinking of Burrows?
Well JQ got run a few times (not just Bennett) in the last game. The team is very small and not assertive (Scandavians and most other Europeans although aggressive in their history have become very docile).. Durzi has the gumption just not the size.. he was trying to confront Bennett and was jawing w him all game. If Lemiuex was there, he handles all that and if necessary drops gloves and f***s with them, f***s with their bench. You know the routine. im surprised you poo poo'd the suggestion...I think Lias has the sandpaper to help a bit with it. Kempe has a little too.. but we cant lose him for 5 min at a time.
He got turned down by a south bay hottie?
I was only addressing the toughness thing (having other teams respect our players)... but now that you mention it, I do think there is some degree of injury prevention as well. I feel McSorely certainly helped Goat stay healthy throughout his career. But no way any of the current injuries are from teams taking liberties.. but that doesnt mean toughing up the roster wont give some value in that area.If you want the team to get bigger and tougher because Quick gets run, fine. If you're blaming these injuries on a soft roster, that's sort of dumb. Which injury happened because the team is soft? Who the hell has ever stopped Marchand from doing anything?
The 80's were one of the most violent decades of hockey, and every team had fighters and rats on it. There was no, and has never been, the equivalent of a nuclear deterent in the NHL.
Burrows...and he suckedMaybe, but he's the kind you need on a team....he's never gonna fully engage in a full on tilt, nor should he, he's almost like the D version of a shit....can't remember his name, that idiot up in Vancouver who went to OTT..... that guy.....real shit disturber, but can play hockey.....difference between those guys and a few guys back in the day who could fight like hell, but couldn't play
