You gotta figure it will be a lot easier for the Kraken to stop taking dumb penalties then it will be for the Kings to play in their own end.

Well, whatever it was it sure sunk in.
It'll be available tomorrow.

I'm not bringing it up because I think it's "saintly wisdom" I'm bringing it up because I think some people on here will have passionate responses to it and I'm pretty sure based on the attendance this morning that they won't be showing up in any articles or blogs.

What's the vibe like around the rink?

Obviously fans can be openly impatient, but the issues here seem so clear that it makes one wonder if there is any frustration brewing.

Kids are likely getting tired of being jerked around and being held to a different standard. I'd imagine Clarke isn't too happy about what they are doing with him. That kid is full of energy and confidence and wants to continue to show he can play at the NHL level, yet the front office is screwing around with him. And Bjornfot being sent to the AHL after two years in the NHL probably isn't too pleased either (especially when he sees the clown show they are icing at LD)

I can see both sides of the coin, on one side Clarke and Spence are objectively better players than both Walker and Durzi and should both be up playing with the Kings. On the flip side, I don't really see any of our other prospects especially at forward breaking down the door to get into the big club lineup.

I’d add Björnfot to that conversation also. At forward you have to think Fagemo has a case, Byfield you have to think will come up soon.

My take is that there is a serious issue that requires a serious solution. It needs a meaningful trade to address need and make space (2 out, 1 in) plus a change behind the bench. Then, even if you subscribe to it not being all Todd’s fault as you can’t fire the entire playing staff the coach is the other change that can bring the required shakeup. Doing one of those things isn’t enough.

Christ on a cracker, that right there just confirms everything we have been bitching about over the past few years. And those kids have every damn right to be concerned. Everybody wants to play, but there are several kids who are most definitely better than the clowns who 80% it up in the NHL on a nightly basis.

Why anybody who has ever played a game could think that you can build a roster that blocks out the profits of a rebuild with 7 offensive wingers and 5 RHDs with an ANCIENT leadership group, no size, no board play, and no crease control is absolutely asinine.

Blake HAD to know that wouldn't work, but then again, he was supposed to know that Phanuef and Kovalchuk wouldn't work. He has better resources to his left and right, but no, he has to try and sustain and build on the corpse of a success that died 8 years ago.

Imagine that? No success whatsoever in 8 years and you still have the same #1 C, D and G AND you defer to their bitching to buy a bunch of mediocrity that keeps some of the best pure talent at your disposal at the kiddie table.

Bjornfot and Spence should be the team's 2nd pairing right now. I would be furious if I were either of those two.

Clarke is a great example too, jeez. Imagine getting snubbed twice by Canada only to come in and blow everyone away only to get snubbed by the Kings and start talking about how they can get him onto Canada. Like what the f***, these guys are a masterclass in pissing everyone off.

The second quote was the interesting one for me… guys thinking they are better than others on 1 way deals. They aren’t wrong… Todd saying it though maybe makes me question if cracks are appearing. In other words was it a veiled message to Blake? Interesting quote.

Yeah and whether they're on the same page or not, that's a major, major issue, since TM is mishandling the pieces he's given but Blake isn't doing a damn thing to help either.

Honestly they need to clean house before they do something stupid, I think we're on the verge of something like giving up Spence and Turcotte for a mediocre 2nd pairing LHD.

I apologize for insulting you for sharing that quote from the coach. I’ll keep my criticism’s civil from here on out.

After listening, I’m a little surprised you publicized the full audio. I’m also a little surprised the coach put something like that on the record. And he spoke for the AHL coach. That’s a huge pull.

As a fan, you’ve got to hope someone like Rosen digs into the story.
