Vilardi has been skating in a red no contact jersey. Nobody needed to leak that. It was visible to the naked eye for anybody that attended practice.

Edler has been skating in a red no contact jersey but recently shed the red no-contact for a regular black jersey.

Kevin Fiala has not been seen skating by anybody and they have not shared any information with anybody even team employees.
Based on the two knee surgeries I had last year. Have had 7 overall. Bernstein said Fiala is wearing a brace. Watching the shift he made it worse on. I would say he had a MCL or LCL strain that turned into a partial tear. Just a guess though. We will find out when the season ends. Hope he shuts it down though. Tough bastard but, we don’t need any one legged sprinters in a marathon.

Maybe they think he might be available for pp duty only. I have serious doubts the oil will be fooled if they just flew him up with the team to mess with their heads.

The last post I saw from Axl was the first or second post in the avatar thread. Of course, his suggestions were all making fun of posters. The post was taken down very quickly.

Yes.. i was concerned when they threw him back out there in same game after original injury.. then when he came back a few games later, on an early shift he grimaced in a lot of pain on the bench and has been out since then. When the injury first happened, an MD shouldve tested knee stability with the hand manipulation thing to see if was loose... if that didnt happen, big fail. By the time he came back, shouldve been MRIs to assess the damage... that leads me to to think there wasnt any major structural damage preceding his return. Its quite possible he did more damage during the game he returned.

Most likely scenario is that the tests came back stating that there wasn't a likelihood of additional damage if he kept playing and it was a pain management issue they decided to test before shutting him down for the post-season.

The problem with Roy is that his agent and other teams know how good he is, it becomes a cap thing for the Kings. As well as filling other potential holes like goaltender and (unbelievably) center, while having a cheap replacement ready to go in Clarke.

Everyone seems to want Gavrikov re-signed for 5-7 years at market value. Doughty is an $11m hit until 2027. Roy’s market value as an UFA is going to be way more than Mikey’s $4m as an RFA. Clarke’s 2nd contract kicks in with the Doughty, Gavrikov and Roy ones still on the books.

That is a lot of money on defense.
