With all the hits to the head, I'm surprised Simmonds can spell his name. The dude has taken a lot of punches to the face. The ideal guy would've be someone who could take a regular shift and be effective, not be a scratch player. These guys are harder to find that LHD.

Or it’s an error/oversight. I don’t have a view because I have zero idea, but it feels like your take is based on bias. I don’t particularly like the Twitter stuff either but that’s Twitter for you, it’s essentially a pit of views anyway. Only being condescending (which I’m not saying is right) is still better than half the people on there anyway. Sorry, going off on a tangent.
Anyway, I don’t see it as an integrity issue though. I think he reports in good faith his opinions and what he thinks is true. By definition that’s integrity.
However, the Twitter stuff, talking about numerology etc has led to me no longer listening to the pod unless there is a guest I particularly want to hear.

Seems so. I ended up ignoring Surf (first time ever), so I now know why threads make sense. I don’t think they are the same person though as whilst the opinions aligned the writing style was different.…. I think.

If it was originally an error due to miscommunication or something like that, own it. It clearly was not an oversight because the paragraph was intentionally changed to obfuscate whether Fiala has been skating.
This is perfectly in line with his condescension on the podcast and on Twitter because, from where I'm sitting, it stems from his transparent mission to be an unquestioned Kings authority. I could see him reasoning that such mission would be undercut by acknowledging that there was a substantive edit on the Fiala reporting.

NOt the first time this has happened and I stopped correcting things after 3-4 times because it's much more fun to see him trip over his own editorial suckiness with such little gratitude or grace for acknowledging such a simple f***ing thing.
That part is just me being petty though.

Do we know if he made the trip? I assumed it was a bad bone bruise. If it turns out to be anything he needs surgery for then yes absolutely.

I thought maybe bone bruise to begin with but the way it buckled when he came back made me cringe. Then that second game he tried and couln't move looked awful. I have no expectations but the dude is completely neutered if he can't confidently lean into his edges, his power and explosiveness is built on that.

I don’t think there’s any excuse to have played him when they had already clinched. He’s the best player on this team and they allowed him on while injured.
More likely it was Axl.
I always had a strong feeling it was the same guy. They portrayed themselves the same exact way.

Vilardi has been skating in a red no contact jersey. Nobody needed to leak that. It was visible to the naked eye for anybody that attended practice.
Edler has been skating in a red no contact jersey but recently shed the red no-contact for a regular black jersey.
Kevin Fiala has not been seen skating by anybody and they have not shared any information with anybody even team employees.

Bruh imagine if edler comes back after an injury exactly like last year from his broken femur just to get his back blown out harder than any corn star ever has. No one wants that old coot playing defense. Edler came back terrible from his injury last year and he’s most likely coming back even worse now from his injury. Dudes sabotaging.
