Mantha has 19 goals - that would be tied for 2nd among Kings forwards.

And he can fight and play nasty. Someone the Kings don’t have in the top 12 forwards sadly.
Anthony Mantha has 31 hits this season.

That would be 3rd worst on the Kings only behind Kaliyev and Kopitar.

Give me Spencer Knight, an extended Byfield and a traded Roy, Lizotte, Kaliyev and Any UFA on the roster.

Give Turcotte, Lafereirre, Clarke and PLD bigger roles to see what we have. Yes I included Dubois in there as the choice has to be made this summer to keep him or buy him out .

Let Matty and Kempe heal 100% so there is no ill effects next year.

Let’s turn this team over to the Byfield’s, Kempe’s, Anderson’s to lead.

The old way will get us to the playoffs, but won’t win the playoffs. Will end up being just like Calgary. That’s sad and did nothing for 15 straight years other than make the playoffs and exit the playoffs.

Well then that’s that

Also, is Blake really offering
Kaliyev
Helenius
‘25 3rd pick
For
Top Titty ???

Rob is a f***en idiot if true
It would have to be 1 of those three things. I just don’t want him back. Would rather save our prospect capital. Blake keeps trading picks Yank might as well stay home.

Seeler would be a nice upgrade over Englund on the bottom pair.

Everybody was making fun of @RayMartyniukTotems Pacioretty thread, but I actually kind of like PacMan as a low risk type of move. He'd be very cheap.

Pacioretty has 7 points in his last 7 games while playing on an anemic Washington all defense system. 15pts in 24 games is still a 50pts pace. His analytics scores are trending up too. He came back from injury only 2 months ago. He might be at a point where he's just getting going. His S% is 5.5 (career avg is 11.2). He'll be playing for one last contract. Very motivated.

Great list. Issue is Greer and Maroon are hurt.

Seeler wants a ton of money and really not much of an upgrade over Englund. Otherwise he’s nails.

2024 Trade Deadline: Expectations for LA Kings

MARCH 1, 2024 BY JOHN HOVEN

Why did we start with injury updates in an article about the Trade Deadline? Because the status of those four players is largely what will drive Blake’s approach heading into next Friday.

Bottom line, according to team sources we’ve spoken with, the Kings are not expected to acquire a goaltender or a scoring forward — the two most common items mentioned by fans and other media members in recent weeks.

LA is not making a deal for Tyler Toffoli, Jake Guentzel, or Juuse Saros.

They also won’t be trading their 2024 first round pick next week.

Quite frankly, the reason the Kings won’t be making any significant trades is because they can’t afford to cap-wise.

John Hoven was also the guy saying Kyle Clifford would never be traded.

Our writers are clueless.

I’d rather we not waste any more assets for rentals for a “playoff push”. Sit out the TDL, play through the rest of the season. We make the playoffs, make the best of it. If not regroup in the offseason.
