I could understand the coaching staff having trepidation about giving Kaliyev more minutes if he was a defensive liability; but he's not. He's fine defensively.Still waiting for the Kings to put Kaliyev next to Danault and Moore. 11 goals for and 4 against with Moore in 131 minutes. That's chemistry for you right there.
Now that RV appears to be out, seems like the obvious move to put Kaliyev in that spot, but the Kings coaches have not gone back to this combo for some reason.

They need him to take RV's spot next year anyways.
