I really hope it isn’t anything bad for Arvidsson, but if it puts him out until the start of playoffs they can certainly use that cap flexibility. We can be one of the teams using that loophole to circumvent the cap a bit.

Maybe it would be worth it to sign him to a cheap one year “show me” deal over the summer.

If anything I'd think this injury scare will make him want to test the market and try and get that big deal, but guess we'll see. I think it all depends on if he comes back for playoffs and looks good. But kings would be fools to sign him for anything more than 1 year.

They said someplace it was lower body.
When he was walking down the the tunnel i saw him flinch when his back pinched him.
As a long time back injury guy that flinch is unmistakeable

Scroll to about 7:15, Elliotte Friedman links the Kings to Saros, mentioning that they've kicked that idea around.

If the cost is reasonable and it makes sense, I say go for it. He has another year left on his contract, and he's 28, and he's been a pretty consistent performer throughout his career.

on the bench looked like he was shouting "why?" to himself too so i imagine we're talking reaggravation

Well, as a runner that has pulled hammys and calf muscles, I'd flinch taking a step with those as well.

I'm expecting overcompensation for the back injury leading to something wrong with the legs. Let's hope that is the case.

I can't see these embedded tweets but did they say what the injury was? I figured it was a groin and the Kings did say lower body injury.
He flexed his left leg before skating to the bench so maybe something popped in his knee.

He did in the one OT game the Kings have played since Hiller took over.
How about put him on the starting three? I recall he came in after Danault and Moore..Treat him like the top forward that he is. Edit: I wonder how many of those lost OT games (8) wouldve been different had he been in there
