Kind of like Drew you don't REALLY want Clarke fighting but you DO want him showing the willingness to, not just cause car crashes and skate away from them./

Had a solid shinner in the skill comp today, going 4 for 4 in the accuracy part. Put that man in our future shootouts!

Yeah stone is bigger but Clarke looked like he saw a ghost. I really like Clarke but he might be drew with a little bit more bite. Judging by his reaction he ain’t about that life unfortunately.

Stone said he was pissed and was looking for anyone, Clarke was the first guy he grabbed. Clarke was like "what did I do, I just got on the ice.?" ..."And you're breath stinks !"

Clarke looked like Gretzky fighting. Yeah great he stood up for himself but that dude should never fight again.

It wasn't that bad. He dropped the gloves first. Started throwing, then was hit in the face, and learned from it as you could see he successfully ducked, and wasn't punched in the face again. He might end up a lighter version of Sean Durzi. In LA Kings Insider, Clarke was quoted:

“It was kind of…I don’t want to say something on my bucket list, but I was just like, the time is right and I’m feeling okay and I thought I’d do it,” Clarke said of his first bout. It’s not a hot take saying I was the decisive loser there, but I held my own, I did fine, no worse for wear.”

and

“This might swell up a little bit tomorrow but there’s no head or hand issues or anything like that,” Clarke said. Overall, I’m feeling fine and it’s out of the way. I wouldn’t say it’s going to be a common occurrence, but that guy was kind of running around and I think it was the right time and place to pull that off.”

Thus, if the Kings makeup doesn't change and change soon, Clarke will be fighting much more often than some may want. If he can just keep his bouts to the lighweight class, I think he'll be fine in the role as the 2nd toughest King.

Holy crap. I cannot believe I missed him. We actually have a very skilled team. Just need the boys to pull their heads out of their rectum and a coach to make a proper line up

I know hockey was a lot dirtier in the 90s but I can't ever remember playing a game bantams or higher where we weren't always at least grabbing a jersey almost every whistle and people rarely took it personally until someone crossed a line at which point my 150 lb soaking wet ass would gladly drop the gloves if needed

I wonder if ownership is waiting for the end of the season or will move based on the standings during the season like the day they drop out of a playoff position or if they are out of a playoff spot on a set date like March 1st. Make the move and sell players at the TDL.

Most likely offseason unless the Kings continue to fold and don't even make it to the playoffs. I think Blake has a lot of pressure to make progress in the playoffs.

I think this means that they tied his hands and told him that he needs to figure it out with what he's got or he's gone by the end of the season. I think it is evident that AEG has had enough of his spending with no success. It's super clear that Blake is the one who extended Todd during this season to please his lover, however AEG stepped in the other day and beheaded him. It's very clear that AEG is taking control of the mess that Blake has created.
