this. Why does everyone think he wouldn't sign here? And if he would not sign here why the hell wouldn't he should be the real question. Why do you say this?

Also, even if he really wasn’t going to sign here, was there no option other than PLD?this. Why does everyone think he wouldn't sign here? And if he would not sign here why the hell wouldn't he should be the real question.
I do too. I think another 5 losses ensures it. The best part of this season will be the firing of these losers. Fire the scouts too.
Because some like to lie to themselves out loud. Why do you say this?
Why do you say this?
Why did you feel he wanted a big raise with long term? The only reports that came out were that they didnt even have any talks at all with Gabe about a contract.I think a lot of us felt he wanted a big raise, longterm deal, after only playing one good almost healthy season. Think Kempe type deal, but with health concerns , which still are there. There's a lot of stuff that went on during contract talks we'll never know, and he was going to go arbitration no matter what. He was scheduled to go to it in WPG until they agreed to s 2 year bridge deal. You don't think the Kings didn't offered him that?
It all makes sense.I know this is in jest, but it is funny because Blake has stated an admiration for the Predators organizational philosophies.
I don't care about the whole Dubois vs Vilardi debate.
Vilardi wasn't going to sign here anyways. I just wish we had actually acquired a legit 3C and had kept Danault as our #2 guy.
Like imagine having someone like Adam Lowry, Ross Colton, or Trent Frederic. Making it so Todd could healthy scratch Englund and have Clarke in the line-up without losing the "toughness" .
Thinking Vilardi had any desire to sign here long term is just delusional.I think from now on, every time the Kings make a stupid trade we should just automatically say the guy we traded wasn’t signing with the Kings anyway. It’s a good coping mechanism.
Like Faber, right?Thinking Vilardi had any desire to sign here long term is just delusional.

Again, based on what?
Well that was his tenure as a king as well. Same as Luc! I’ve said it before I’ll say it again they don’t know shit about building a team they both jumped for their cups. They both let other players do the heavy lifting! It all makes sense.
At the UWM-Panthers arena in Milwaukee there is a section on the main concourse with pictures of all the Preds guys who played there with the saying that they use frequently…
“The road to to Nashville goes through Milwaukee”
The Predators are probably second to the Kings in AHL usage, so now we know where Blake got his ideas from.
Thanks Rob, you could have modeled us after Tampa, Colorado or Pittsburgh, but instead we are modeled after Nashville, a team with zero Stanley Cups and one trip to the finals in 26 seasons.
“I didn’t need AHL time. I was McDavid caliber.”How come no one has ever asked Rob if he wishes he began his pro career in the AHL ?
Rob, don't you wish you did some time in New Haven?
Did Bergevin have Blake's ear on that deal?I hope Kelly Chaseman is paying attention because he's the only one who can do it. He's the only one above Luc. The PLD trade looks disasterous on Blakes resume, and his comments yesterday about everything is fine didn't help.
No idea - did Blake even make the decision or just make the phone call? Kings arent run like a normal org... e.g. the 1-3-1 system was passed down to the coach from above... so wouldnt surprise me if the PLD deal was as wellDid Bergevin have Blake's ear on that deal?
