But will it be Snoop Dog?
That's a tough one. Gonna be hard to hate a hockey franchise partially owned by Snoop Dog....

Damn Idiot. He had an awesome Gig. He lost sight of it.
Imagine if Dubas didn’t do his Presser?
The discussion here would centre around Matthews extension number and Keefe getting fired.
None of this chaos would have ensued.
Martha Stewart will show up at your house and slap you if you don’t like Snoop and the Sens. Then she will give you a nice flower arrangement. But will it be Snoop Dog?

Thank you friedman for clarfying. MLSE does not make personell decisions as i mentioned a few times on here. They hire and get out of the way. Its been like this since leiweke came on board. Kyle’s moves clearly show he led those decisions. Not sure why friedman even led people to believe this. Such nonsense. Also says pittsburgh has kyle top of their lost

Kyle Dubas’ 5 worst moves during his time with the Toronto Maple Leafs - The Leafs Nation

Just like my previous article about Kyle Dubas’ five best moves during his time with the Toronto Maple Leafs, it wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t write a follow-up article on his five worst moves during his time with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
As I’ve said plenty of times, Kyle Dubas wasn’t a perfect general manager, nobody is, but he did a lot of good things for this team while he was here, and yes, he even did some questionable things for this team that has hurt them at times.
When I was writing my five best moves from Dubas, I felt like that list could look different for other people, but as I was writing this piece, I thought to myself that my list probably looks similar to a lot of others because of how big these moves were at the time.
1. Toronto Maple Leafs acquire Tyson Barrie, Alex Kerfoot and a 2020 3rd-round pick from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for Nazem Kadri, Calle Rosen and a 2020 6th-round pick
2. Toronto Maple Leafs acquire Nick Foligno (CBJ) and Stefan Noesen (SJ) in a three-way trade in exchange for a 2021 1st-round pick, a 2021 4th-round pick and a 2022 4th-round pick
3. Toronto Maple Leafs protecting Justin Holl and Alex Kerfoot over Jared McCann in the 2021 Seattle Kraken expansion draft
4. Toronto Maple Leafs acquire Denis Malgin from the Florida Panthers in exchange for Mason Marchment
5. Toronto Maple Leafs sign free agent Petr Mrazek to a three-year, $11.4M contract ($3.8M AAV)
Honourable mention: Allowing Frederik Andersen to walk in free agency to sign a two-year, $9M contract ($4.5M AAV) with the Carolina Hurricanes
While I don't disagree with any on the items listed, where is the Tavares signing?Kyle Dubas’ 5 worst moves during his time with the Toronto Maple Leafs - The Leafs Nation

Agreed. His comment on sat night about this reporting structure was his own doing and that was lackluster reporting. You bet his boss ripped him one this morningFriedman is a rumor monger that has no business covering professional sports. Most of the media in this city is.

Dubas seems like the perfect young hipster to bring in and throw under the bus when the Pens have to move on from Crosby and Malkin. Don't think fans in Pits are used to big time down time.Thank you friedman for clarfying. MLSE does not make personell decisions as i mentioned a few times on here. They hire and get out of the way. I just hope future management teams finally realize the importance of drafting and developing players so that we can be competitive every year. I don't understand the pressure that is on this team. It is unfair and unrealistic. This is a 32 team league and the Stanley Cup is one of the most difficult trophies to win. Consistently drafting and developing talent is our lifeline to eventually breaking through. No more retirement contracts to over the hill veterans, no more paying draft capital to fix free agent blunders. Oh and make it a priority to develop a top notch goaltender.

Dude might be walking into a trap and doesn't even know it. The more I think about all of this, I am so glad Shanny showed Dubas the door.

Dubas has absolutely ZERO chance of success in Pittsburgh because he has no idea how to build a team and no ability to assess talent.
What value did he add to the Leafs over the past five years? John Tavares? Al Kerfoot? Ty Barrie? Justin Holl? Dave Kampf? Wayne Simmonds?
Leafs don’t even have draft pick because Dubas squandered the major of those away.
But the Dubas created more “Assistant Manager” roles than any other team in the NHL.
While I don't disagree with any on the items listed, where is the Tavares signing?
That should be #1.
There is no chaos. That's just the Toronto media trying to make it seem like that. They latch on to anything because they need something to talk about.
Like, are people suddenly subscribing to the Saturday Star and Sunday Sun yet again? I doubt it.
I'm fairly confident MLSE are fine, Shanahan is fine (even though they're all having a go at him), Dubas probably gets another job.
Shanny has been a breath of fresh air compared to before..........
But perhaps we're entering the dark ages once again. Just gotta wait and see what happens next.
Don't diss Kampf. One of the few guys I hope we keep. Valuable role player.
Evidently you and I have very different assessments and valuations of players.
Kampf is a clone of Pete Engvall - - big forwards 6’2+ but ZERO physicality and little to no offence. WTF good is that?
Guys on the 4th line don’t need to score but the absolutely MUST play a physical game that wears down opponents and causes as much chaos as possible on the forecheck.
That’s even more essential in the playoffs. Unfortunately, it’s also something the Leafs have not had for the past half decade.
#1 in my opinion was the handling of the Marleau trade. Dubas rushed to trade Marleau along with a first round pick (Seth Jervis) to Carolina to make room to sign Andreas Johnsson and Kasperi Kapanen. The next season both Johnsson and Kapanen were goners. Absolutely asinine asset management.
I liked Engvall. Shrugs shoulders... I love your avatar as well!
Obviously FSG is not gonna bring him to Pitt just to use him as a scapegoat for when they have to rebuild. He’s 38.Dubas seems like the perfect young hipster to bring in and throw under the bus when the Pens have to move on from Crosby and Malkin. Don't think fans in Pits are used to big time down time.

True, but the whole thing would have been a non-issue if he hadn't signed JT to that ridiculous contract.Don't diss Kampf. One of the few guys I hope we keep. Valuable role player.

I cannot stand players like Engvall and Kampf.
They don’t score. They don’t hit. They’re essentially figure skaters out for a twirl around the ice every shift.
Accari and Aston-Reese have no offensive ability but at least you can count on them to play physical and throw some hits. They’re a much better fit in the fourth line than those other two gimps.
