The really rich part of all this? Weren’t some bozos on here expecting him to put up 70pts this year?

Why should we make things easy for him? What is the problem, send him to the KHL.
Should be a no-brainer really.
Yeah, I think that's the pretty obvious solution here. Try to trade him once you can credibly sell some illusion of personal growth. No one will pay for him now. What is the problem, send him to the KHL.
Should be a no-brainer really.
I mean, say what you will about Gauthier, I get it. He's frustrating.Ok good I thought I was the only one that thought that![]()
If they send him back to the KHL I wager we never see him here again. He'll be an RFA at the end of the year and just won't come back. What is the problem, send him to the KHL.
Should be a no-brainer really. He is 21 y/o. It’s super obvious that he still will develop a lot. He isn’t far away from being a solid top 9 as it is, let him grow another year and he will be in contention next season. Or this spring.
I mean, say what you will about Gauthier, I get it. He's frustrating.
But also he's 23 and how much have we f***ed that poor kid around? He was sitting at times last year so Blackwell and Howden could get minutes.
He kept on the grind and didn't flip the table over.
I think the kid is going to flourish under Gallant tooI mean, say what you will about Gauthier, I get it. He's frustrating.

I blame the drafting itself and not the development. I was critical of the way we handled Andersson until he also bailed. They need to do a better job assessing character and how these guys will handle adversity. How does this happen twice with top 10 picks? At some point the organization has to look at itself here

Barrett Hayton lmao. It actually makes sense. We might not even be able to get Barrett Hayton
3rd line was going to be Goodrow Chytil Kravtsov no? And Gauthier beat him for that spot I assume. Goodrow is comfortable on either side iircthat would be Goodrow
That seems most logical. Hayton and Lafreniere had a ton of chemistry at the WJCWhat about Hayton in AZ?
What, is he retiring from hockey? Our management being a bunch of knuckledragging buffoons doesn’t change his potential as a player. He will put up 70pts if tradedThe really rich part of all this? Weren’t some bozos on here expecting him to put up 70pts this year?![]()

Well if you remember this board a few weeks back, 3rd line was SOLIDLY Kreider - Chytil - Goodrow.3rd line was going to be Goodrow Chytil Kravtsov no? And Gauthier beat him for that spot I assume. Goodrow is comfortable on either side iirc
