I think he can be a regular 20-goal scorer, maybe reaching 30 goals once or twice, a la Richard Zednik — if everything goes right. Far likelier, this fit has put a red flag on him that won’t go away for a while, and he might return to Russia for a few years before an NHL team is willing to give him a look again. Isn’t that what happened with Radulov? (Sincere question — memory is iffy; I recall he was drafted by Chicago and then disappeared for years.)I like Krav, and see potential in him becoming a pretty good player, but there was nothing this preseason that screamed this guy needs to be in the top6. It seemed like he’s being put in position to be the first call-up, which is the perfect spot for him.
Get top line minutes, let the big club work out the kinks of the new season, and come up first opportunity.
this is not at all a good look for the kid.
