He should be learning on the job RN imo...Schneider is a hell of a player.

He sucks terribly
Arizona just recalled him a few days ago and played him as 1C last night in place of Nick Schmaltz who is DTD with an injury. I can see them wanting to hold onto him now and seeing if he can get his game back on track with a new a HC. I think he’d be a good target too, but I don’t think he’d be available.Hayton from ARI seems like a fair deal. I'd be intrigued by that pick up, especially considering the chemistry between he and Lafreniere in the world juniors.

A player I’d really like to get, but one who is probably unavailable, is Adam Beckman from Minnesota. He was an amazing player for Spokane the last few years, and he’s had a solid start to his AHL career with 9 points in his first 13 games. He’s got one helluva shot too.
You usually trade the car before you run it into a tree.
Yeah, he’s an incredibly fun player to watch, but I doubt MIN wants to move him since he’s one of their top prospects. Krav could plug right into their top-9 now though and give them some much needed scoring depth to be competitive in the Western ConferenceThat's a great thought too. Beckman is a blazer, kid skates like the wind and shoots every chance he gets.
I'm sure he's skating every day and also 'working out' like getting up from the couch to get a sodais he even working out with some team over there? Or is he doing nothing for 3 weeks and counting?
and obviously posing for pictures in the sauna with Jovo....I'm sure he's skating every day and also 'working out' like getting up from the couch to get a soda
First off, it was discussed by Jeff Marek and Elliotte Friedman in a recent episode of 32 Thoughts that when Drury was the General Manager of the Hartford Wolf Pack, several players had requested trades; in all but one of these situations, Drury did not give in, and instead made a trade on “his timeline.”That seems like an indictment of Hartford/Drury... the list isn’t just Lias and Krav.
Potential Destinations for Vitali Kravtsov
Not sure I track how this is an indictment on Drury. He doesn't let the players call the shots. That's good. These guys have signed contracts. There's no obligation to immediately trade them for pennies on the dollar just because they request a trade.
Yeah, I was discussing this in another thread or earlier in here. The Rangers have always accommodated guys who want out. Under Drury that included at least Vince Pedrie, Ville Meskanen, and the Swedish kid whose name I forget. They were all let go by Drury. There have been other moves to accommodate guys as well. One thing to remember is that the guys Marek mentioned were all under NHL contract (IIRC it was Day, Gropp, Halverson, and I forget who else), so it wasn't even Drury's call to make by himself. Second, it's not uncommon for guys toiling in the minors to ask for trades--in fact, it's pretty common, as they have a very limited window in most cases to make the NHL. Third, we can't just trade or terminate the contract of every guy who wants a move--no team can. Even if the guys aren't parts of the NHL plan, you still need to fill out a competitive AHL squad and accordingly you can't just ship out a guy at the drop of a hat. If you're the AHL GM your job is is to put together a strong AHL team. Not sure I track how this is an indictment on Drury. He doesn't let the players call the shots. That's good. All of that is fine but we've literally done exactly that with Lundkvist this year and Lafreniere and Kakko before that. It was a predictable situation and this team loses because they didn't react to it correctly.
If Kravstov was ever a fraction as effective as Gauthier was in the AHL he’d probably be on the team now.
There’s a lot of that going around the league lately
Gauthiers numbers are so much better than his, there’s literally no comparison. Gauthier is one of those guys who’s had maxed out in the AHL, which is why he’s got a longer leash trying to become an NHL player. Kravstov played a quarter of one AHL season and scored at the pace an NHL fourth liner would at that point in their developmentCmmmmmmon.

He requests a trade and all of a sudden the rebuild is ruined, our depth is killed....He's easily the most overhyped Ranger I can remember in a long time.
...
EDIT: The Swedish kid was Lindqvist. Not Andersson if that's what it seemed like I meant. Though him, too. LOL.
Kravtsov isn’t injured though. He is who he is and no one is biting. I mean, yeah, trade him before the issue comes to a head. But GMs around the league know what’s up. He’s a guy with talent who has never really put it together. What’s he worth? I think it was a gamble of a draft pick that just hasn’t panned out. For any number of reasons. But either way, there’s just not much there. And he’s still under contract. It’s a crap situation but maybe somewhat salvageable. You usually trade the car before you run it into a tree.
Oh, yeah. I did. I guess him as well. LOL.Swear I thought you meant Stromwall.
