Great to see the rookies stepping up when the big dogs were having an off night.

The more I watch Martin play post injury the more concerned I get. I just can’t see his skating keeping up with the pace in a high tempo series.
After missing 40 games Martin will take a bit to get up to snuff. Must of been quite the surgery to be rehabbing so long. Martin was a favorite player of mine before he went down. Hope he gets going.

The first was back and forth and Flint up 2 to 1 when Ellinas served notice to tie it up. BOOM....in the 2nd as the Rangers scored 4 unanswered goals. Flint never gives up and got one back but Rangers add two more by the end of the 2nd. Rangers up 8-3.

Foot off the pedal in the 3rd. Jussi started resting top line players. That's the story there.

Sale's goal was a beaut and that line is heating up. No wonder that scouts are high on Ellinas. How about Romano? A three point night including 2 goals. Scoring came from the depth and how sweet it is!!

Jussi admitted that the team was looking forward to playing London today. Hopefully, it will be a hockey game and not a bashing, bullying penalty fest. Both teams need their players for the playoffs.

As a long time Bruin fan and him being a Bruin draft pick yes. Only if someone could control his temper. Temper his temper. 😉Just seems to fly off the handle too easily. He has to realize if he is lucky enough to make pro every player there is as big or bigger than him. He won't be knocking 150 pound rookies around.
Some Knight fans think he could become a detriment because he has lost it quite a bit lately. Jussi thought they played a soft game through two periods. Not going to dirty areas and not enough net front presence.

When I see our guys play the top teams in this conference. London, Soo, Saginaw, I see their top players get the better of our top D pairing to the point where I see our top pairing as a very good second pairing on a championship team.

I like Andonovski and Brzustewicz a lot, but in games like today, they seem out matched by the opposition’s best forwards.

Great point Even. Rangers back end has talent but they aren't as physical as they should be. Also getting that first pass out fails with a heavy forecheck causing a bunch of turn overs. You need to draft or trade for defenseman that are hard to play against. Opposing forward should pay the price coming into the defensive end. Knights play a solid defensive game for the most part. When they lose its usually on the goalie having an off game.

To compare, I see our top pairing as I see Andre Benoit and Marcus Smith in 2003. They were the second pairing to Eminger and Halkidis, and would be a top pairing on many teams that year.

I don’t feel confident with this pair having to face the top players on the top teams in the west on a shift by shift basis.

Not a knock on them, but they do have their flaws that wouldn’t be as evident if they see middle six opposition most nights.

I agree on the defence comments. It was part of the reason that I was in the 'soft sell' camp at the deadline. They needed a true #1 D to really compete and weren't going to get one without giving up Romano or Reid, and I agree with the decision to take them out of any discussions.

I love Ando, but it is tough to be a #1 shut-down guy in this league at 18. He will be fun to watch next year (until the trade deadline, anyway). As Sarnia fans how it goes with a young and inexperienced D corps.

Nice to see the organization getting upper management all locked down… helps take away any uncertainties which they’ve had to deal with in the past.

Good group to have at the helm leading into a (hopefully) successful 2027 Mem Cup bid!

Kudos to Sean Furfaro for coming over to the dark side.

Sean's a great guy. Love having somebody around who does lots for local sports. Somebody who has the type of charm and excitement we need on the broadcasts.

I know that him and the rogers broadcast in London are always friendly even when things get thick. When they are in Kitchener he's meeting up with them and when he's in London they're meeting up with him.

Would have been better if he rocked the spider knight however lol.

Sean is a great guy. Does a real job interviewing players and coaches. Fashionable also except in green and gold. Even a half arsed Irishman like myself whose favorite colour is green could see how itchy Sean was in green and gold.😉
