It uses the number of games played, rather than giving equal weight to each rostered player.

I know what weighted average is. I just don't see how you can apply it to age. There is no advantage or reason to have a weighted average for something like age. So, as in my previous example, Arquette plays a few extra games than expected. How does this factor in to the team average? There is no need to "weigh in" anything. Technically, the average age goes up every day! And the website itself does not state "weighted average" anywhere, unless my eyesight is worse than I thought, so where does this come from?

Either that, or Kostuch is less than inspiring as a 1st rounder.

I’m worried that if this Beck thing is true this is going to come down to the wire and MM won’t be able to add much more as he won’t know the assets needed to get Beck. I say put your best foot forward and continue trying to make moves. If you end up with a solid option then give PTBO one last option to accept before you spend what little things you have in the cupboard.

Simply having young players doesn't make a team young. Andrew MacNiel has played 2 games and Tanner Lam has played 38 games, but they count as the same.

For that reason, I think that a weighted average better portrays the age of the players who are actually seeing ice time. Feel free to disagree. I wasn't trying to start an argument.

Has anyone seen what it cost to acquire the players dealt so far and they are the cream of the crop? Beck being the number one player that folks had on the market is not going for one 2nd and a 3rd. I love eating crow and still have feathers sticking out of my craw from the last pie but on this I will put away my pie fork.

Haven’t heard a word from anyone anywhere on here or elsewhere on Beck saying Rangers or bust except for that one single post on here. Nothing.
