I've been saying for months, they need to figure out their 3rd periods. Horrible. Rehkopf didn't come back either. Ooof.
TV feed said he told the ref it was his back. Hope he comes back soon, we a tasty slip into the boards.

Is there a site to see time on ice for the players? Sop hasn't looked the same lately but he probably played 25+ minutes last couple weeks.

they need to bring in at least 1 D & another reliable/veteran centre
They need two D. One isn’t enough. And yes, one veteran 3rd line center.

But the D is priority #1.

I don’t think Pugliese came back either.

Get Beck cheap and you can still add the 3/4 dman needed.
Kitchener will not get Owen Beck for a discounted price. It will cost the Rangers a minimum of good 16 or 17 year old player, two, 2nds, a 3rd and a 4th. I think if the Petes don’t get their asking price they will decide to keep him.

Rangers not only played with no sense of urgency after the first they also got roughed up by the Wolves with no answer. I Watched the Wolves play the previous game against the Bulldogs and both teams were physical with the Wolves coming out on top. Any team hoping to win a playoff round better be ready for a rough go. They are going to get banged around and should reciprocate. Rangers aren't built for this type of chippy hockey. After pulling Vandenberg the Wolves made an adjustment and kept the Rangers to the outside in the offensive end. In the defensive end the Rangers couldn't protect Parsons at all allowing the Wolves forwards to stand right in the blue paint and score at will. When they manage to get Martin and Mesar back they will have more scoring but that is not the issue. They need to find a way to tighten up the defense or they won't last too long when it counts.

If MM doesn't get 2 dmen to replace Hamara and Schmidt fuggetaboutit.
And to get those two d-men, he’ll have to overpay, based on the current market.

We ran with four d most of the night. That was the problem.

They are overworked.

True Even. The Wolves threw out their top line every other shift also. Seemed like they never left the ice. They can put pucks in the net. The whole team needs to play better defensively in front of the goalie. Parson's numbers are slowly dropping in the stats column. They can't all be that tired. Also the giveaways are happening far too much. They looked like they put it in neutral a few times. When Hamara got going in Brantford they said the team seemed to settle down and play better defensively. Rangers need a couple of stay at home types. The prices for established vets is high with a sellers market. Will MM be willing to pay or will he say the prices are far too high?

With two additional, veteran stay at home, defenseman, guys like Hunter B wouldn't be out there in more defensive situations than he should be. Because these guys are tired, and playing in situations, they may not regularly be playing in, a guy like Hunter is causing the odd giveaway, Andonovski is not able to pay his physical game. And, we have a guy like Reid out there more than he should be against tougher competition.

Add in the three minors Andonovski took and you’re asking the other to overtax themselves even more.

MM has to see this and has to address it. And he’ll likely have to overpay.
