Hamara has done well in Brantford. Right up at the top of the league in plus/minus. Picked up points along the way.:)
It really affected the Rangers when Hamara went to Brantford. I felt he was a rock and much under appreciated this season. I don't think it's coincidence we went into a 7 game lull right after he departed.

Which is why I don't see trading Schmidt and further weakening the backend.

Difelice 2 games 4.56. GAA
Started consecutive days, back in October, with a loss and a win in a pair of one goal games. Hasn't even dressed as BUG. Too bad, hope he can get icetime somewhere before long.

Lam and Romano didn’t play at least the last 10 minutes.
Some notes from Josh Brown

Martin will not be back before the break

Cameron Arquette will join the team Sunday until mesar and Rehkopf are back

The 12 round pick turns into a 10 if Maillet plays 10 games by the end of next year

He wonders if they fill the import slot with. Top 6 forward if Rehkopf makes the world juniors

We shortened the bench somewhat in the 3rd. But I did see some individualistic play by Lam this game that didn’t end well.

Trying to go through multiple players only to turn over the puck.

Nothing serious, but needs to be addressed.

I have to admit that by the end of the 2nd, I didn't see a lot of hope. The boys were just not bringing it. They were sloppy and lacking their usual energy. I did not expect that 3rd period and I'm sure Brantford was wondering what was going on. As the pushback picked up momentum....boom...they were...like their old selves......and to top it all off, Jussi shortened his lines. I saw the Brantford fans around me go from "we kicked the #1 team's ass" to "what the hell is going on??!"

Enjoyed every second of that incredible comeback. Reminds of games of old when Rangers would dominate London for two periods and then BAM.....Marner and crew would roar back for the win.

Rangers pulled a rabbit out of the hat in the third period. I don't think they particularly played well in the first or second. Loved the 3rd period push back and winner in OT. Credit to the Bull Dogs system for penetrating the Rangers and capitalizing on their opportunities. McKee is one hell of a coach IMO. Bull Dogs always seem to be a challenge for most opponents every season. They will be a team to reckon with next season. Not sure if Parsons had a bad game but something seemed off. On Lam over playing the puck it was more noticeable with the Rangers struggling to score. When things are going south players have a tendency to do this trying to be the hero. I think it's great how creative Lam is and his lack of fear going into tight situations. He is a light weight along with Pug. Pug seems to be the spark plug on this squad. He always seems to be in the mix before and after whistles. Hopefully the Rangers are ready to play in Brantford tonight. The Bull Dogs will be looking to even the score.

I strongly feel that MM is targeting Hemstrom on Kingston. 04 RW with 26 points (didn’t make Sweden) and would likely cost the same as hamara or another late round pick.

Vilmanis has been linked but I wonder what his price is and if you’d pay for him to potentially be behind Swick-Martin.

Slavicek is underrated and can play both sides. Flint is older so I’m not sure if they’ll try and make a push or not.

I think Petrovsky in division value will be to high

There was nothing wrong with the way Parsons played. Although Brantford's shot total was relatively low those were all quality goals mostly coming off the transition game. Rangers were clearly getting out muscled and out hustled the first two periods.

Returns to the scene of the crime so to speak.

I remember his going after Dion Phaneuf after a big hit by Phaneuf on a teammate in the prospects game.

Nice scrap!! A lot of talent in that game!!!
I was at that game as a kid, got a ton of autographs of future stars. Got Bobby Clarke's autograph and got to see him ask 2 mid 20s-30s guys "aren't you too old for this?" when they came up to him with pucks. Had several grown men muscle me out of the lineup for Don Cherry signing stuff over the glass at the end of the game (still got it). Also nabbed Guy Lapointe who I didn't know but my dad pointed out.

He should have stopped at least one of the breakaways. Also, the last goal should have been stopped.

It bounced out and Crombie scored a between-the-legs goal, flipping the puck over Parsons’ shoulder on the weak side.

Yes - it's obviously the goalie's fault for not stopping breakaways and goals where a player has time to pull a crap between his legs move 🤣

Parsons wasn't standing on his head but he wasn't the problem

Parsons pulled, so obviously Jussi disagreed.

He wasn't the only problem, but he definitely wasn't on his A game

I don't think he was THE problem, but I do agree with Bully. As someone that is supposed to be one of the best in Canada, you would expect him to stop at least 1 or 2 of those. I mean, they scored 5 on 17 shots? Personally, I think he is playing a bit too deep in his net lately, though I am no means a goaltending coach. But yes, the breakdowns lead to too many odd man rushes.

This is true. The Bull Dogs did scored a couple of highlite reel goals on Parsons. Couple others he would like a second crack at likely. It was a result of miscues by the players in front of him who lost track of their coverage several times. They weren't playing well basically because the Dogs were playing a perfect road game. I think Parsons who was lit up for five goals on 17 shots would say he never had his best game. I would use Vandenberg's game as a measuring stick. He made some of those types of saves in the Niagara game. Rangers came back and basically did the same to the Bull Dog goalie in the 3rd and OT. Hope they do a better job tonight in front of our goalie.
