Entertaining 2 game series, it’s criminal we only play them twice. Duthie is one of the best pxp in the league and now we get the OHL Jack Edwards tomorrow.

Lam would be entertaining during the 3 on 3

On the import situation. Josh brown said they are keeping the spot open till the last possible minute and is reserved for Pobezal (currently hurt and not going to WJC).

Mentions Servac Petrovsky, Sandis Vilmanis, Linus Hemstrom, Simon Slavicek,

Cheap options Valentin Zhugin and Tommy Purdeller

Dream scenario Martin Misiak.
Take Servac off your list.

I really doubt the Petes will trade Tommy Purdeller. He is more valuable to them than what they could get in a trade for him.

Lol can't help but laugh at this one. I dont know how the Rangers and Bulldogs dont come away with more ticket sales after this weekend. This was the definition of Jr. Hockey. On to Guelph!

Hope the Rangers can figure out how to play 60 minutes without a flat tire. Someone should have reminded them they had another period to play and hadn't really won the game. Three shots on net in the 3rd. You would of thought they were the team that ran out of gas playing a 3 in 3. IMO if they do make any changes it should be a couple of shut down stay at home type Dmen. They give up far too many odd man rushes on broken plays.

It’s a long season, the boys looked exhausted in overtime. We have enough talent to lengthen the bench and keep them fresh.

Impressed with McCoy from Peterborough, can we afford him?

They gave one away in Hamara. I know MM was in a tough spot as he requested the trade but I wish they could have found a way to accommodate him.

Arquette is making his debut today and will count as a player card. They have done pretty good limiting the cards and looks to only use them by trade this year currently at 24/30. Not really any free agents lighting it up.

-Rookie camp favourite Hlacar has 21 points, 24 Pim in 26 games

-I like Harrison Franssen 6,3 190Lbs 24 points, 30 Pims but he’s a Oshawa 9th rounder 2022

I doubt the Petes would trade him. They will likely listen to offers for him though. I would expect he would cost Kitchener a 17 year old defenceman plus a 2nd and 4th and a conditional 3rd if he wants plays as an overage.

I would think he would have to be the Real McCoy to give up that much for this player. At that price I wouldn't touch this with a 30 foot pole if I was MM.

This is so true. Loved the way Hamara played here in KTown. Bull Dogs give Hamara credit for stabilizing their defense. He plays a solid game on the back end and his plus / minus stats are proof. I really like to see defensemen like Edwards on the Knights. Hard nosed kid that bangs opposing players and makes them pay the price in the defensive zone. Rangers seem to struggle lately getting that first pass out of their end .

That is likely the going rate for a top rated defenceman. Windsor got Connor Walton plus two, 2nds, one, 3rd, a 6th and a conditional 15th for Nicholas DeAngelis and Trevor O’Dell.

I’d be willing to part with the Rangers’ - 1sts for a good chance at a championship
… Reid, Romano, and non-2024 picks for Beck, McCoy, & Meele

But the Rangers would prefer a LD unless moving Schmidt?

Someone (Flint?) would pay the price for the real McCoy imo

Dirty never knew you were so generous. :D I have my doubts right now this squad would be lucky to get past the second round of the play offs with the lack of effort in the defensive end of the ice. It's not worth giving away the future for a fleeting chance at elusive glory unless the team can put in a 60 minute effort over a stretch of time.

Rangers played a decent road game today against their highway 7 rivals. Both teams with player missing. Thought the Rangers did a better job defensively today. Got into a bit of penalty issues at the end. Thought the ref ignored a few Storm infractions and called the Rangers for retaliation in the last four minutes or so. Still it's the wins that count in hockey. That Storm TV guy sure is a drama queen. Thought he was going to blow a gasket calling for nonexistent Ranger penalties. :) He did the same last time they were in the Storm barn. He should have two or three shots of Wisers between period and chill out a bit.

Oh yes the time of year fans start overvaluing their players in trades.
It is a lot for the Petes to give up in one trade and not get '24 picks, but I think Oke likes loading up with one birth year so he would do it.

Jack Edwards made his way to the sleeman centre.

Thought Romano had his best game and looked pretty confident for a rookie centre. Ellinas was solid, and Arquette started to build confidence throughout the game. I thought he play pretty good for just getting with the team today and without a practice.
