Hopefully Benn...
You got a chuckle out of me, but it unfortunately wouldn't be Benn, since his cap hit is so low. Based off the timing of the deals, it would probably be Gologoski, and he would have had to be replaced with another cheap d-man. I'm not sure who was still available for that cheap at that time (besides Addison as an internal option), but I wouldn't be surprised if they'd signed another Benn.

Looking at his numbers, it looks like if he ever has a season where he shoots higher than normal by a hit, he could probably score 50

I won't be surprised if he does. He picks up a lot of assists, but he's always been a goal scorer. In the KHL he had 113 goals to 117 assists. Very Gaborik like, that ratio.

Yeah, weird to say but his finishing and shooting this year hasn’t been super strong, shot is absolutely top tier but he has been missing high and wide quite a bit. If he can find the sweet spot with that shot he could find himself challenging for the rocket at some point.

Is that good

Best player I have ever seen play consistently to know his game and see the impact he has on a night in and night out basis. I can't really imagine there's another forward who impacts the game like him on a shift by shift basis points aside.

An underrated part of his game has been his physicality; an absolute hound on the puck. Last night, two examples stand out: the reverse hit he threw on a Columbus defender, and his OT shift in the offensive zone. I can’t think of a player who consistently fights for the puck so hard.
