Parise actually did when he was at his best, just didn't have Kaprizov's puck skills to go with it.An underrated part of his game has been his physicality; an absolute hound on the puck. Last night, two examples stand out: the reverse hit he threw on a Columbus defender, and his OT shift in the offensive zone. I can’t think of a player who consistently fights for the puck so hard.
With the cross checks he takes, I hope he doesn't get the same back damage Zach had as a result though.
