Since around the time after Caufield went down, Dach has really broken out. He's been outright dominant in some games and creating things on his own. Tonight, he played like a no.1 center.

I wonder if he'll find chemistry with Gurianov. Gurianov and Dach didn't click much tonight. May have to get better wingers for him.

Hopefully Farrell at 22 is NHL ready.

We finally have a player who passed Cole Caufield for 2nd in points on the team

Kirby Dach

Mind you, he missed 5 weeks when he was 3rd in scoring and came back 1 game and 1 period ago.
Beautifully dogshitted team

The farrell watchers seem to think he is, he’ll probably play in Montreal once the tournaments over. With Anderson now down too a spot has opened

Slafkovsky is the answer, he's known for his playmaking before anything else. We just need patience. I think perhaps having Gurianov as his trigger man could give us something. Put Dach in the middle and you have nice big line with the abilty to both play big and have skill. All Gurianov will have to do is be the fast big man he is and find openings to let either Dach or Slaf get him the puck. I honestly see a better, bigger faster Hoffman wrapped up in Gurianov. He could absolutely produce with the right molding and linemates.

This is the way.

Dach and Dubois together on a line would be fire.
Dach Dubois and Slaf if they do get Dubois was my thinking

Dach might have to be a winger as his faceoff percentage is quite bad. Or the Habs need to invest in someone to actually help as Suzuki is better, but still no ideal at 47%.

Dubois is at 49%

If Gurianov pans out, I expect it’ll be a Nichushkin situation, 3rd liner

I personally am in no rush to take Dach out of the center position even if it is Dubois. But it is nice he has the versatility.

If he "pans out" he can absolutely play a 2nd line role if he's insulated by two studs in Slaf and Dach. Atleast that's my reasoning. Of course he'd have to pan out though.
If Garianov isn’t scoring, he isn’t doing anything on the ice - it’ll be a while before he pans out

Not sure I totally agree, MSL even had him playing on the PK last night, he also made a couple of real nice plays last night setting up linemates. It's unfortunate for him they didn't cash.

But yes he is absolutely still a work in progress.

He's put up very solid numbers, but they don't do justice on how much he has improved.

Our PP has sucked ass, as well we have one legit goal scorer who has missed half the year. Yesterday he could've had 2-3 more assists if we had some more talent playing with him.

Given he's a pass first guy, his points will go up once we continue to remove our shitty vets and add more young talent.

Of the two, Dubois seems to be more open to playing on the wing. Based on their past comments.

Faceoffs can be improved. In the meantime they could both take strong side faceoffs when it matters.
