Feel for the guy. Tough break. Is what it is now.
Get it taken care of, put in the work to rehab n come back in beast mode.

What's a typical timeline for an injury like this? 2-3months? Do they have to determine if it needs surgery?

Svechnikov also had a torn ACL in March 2023. He still hasn't played yet, 7 months later

Brutal. Svechnikov is so good. Hate when this happens to up and coming stars.

It’s all about how clean the tear is & if there’s any trauma to the bone

It’s official

I'm just hoping this doesn't detail his development too significantly. He looked poised for a big season this year. Easily the best player on the team through the preseason and first two games.

Man its completely insane that hell miss 80 games. 80 f***ing games. When does that ever happen? 7 months? Jesus.
Sorry you had to watch that game live bro, I thought 100% he would make it to game 3 this year.

It's awful, I feel bad for him, but I also feel bad for us. Maybe I'm entitled but he owes it to the fans to come back better next year.

Poor guy. This year was his year. I believed that healthy, he would be trending towards #1C territory this year.

Season-ending injury after 4 periods is devastating. One whole year of development wasted. A full year!
