-Knee injury just a few weeks before the 09 playoffs
-Aforementioned cut at the start of the 09-10 season
-Second knee injury vs Pitts in the 2010 playoffs
-3rd knee injury vs Canes (f***in Staal) I don't remember exactly when
I’m looking at old footages and to my surprise he almost got injured twice immediately after his return in 2012.

I wasn’t even aware of these two close calls. Freaking insane, Markov had the worst luck during that stretch. We definitely got robbed of his prime years.

Wow. What a kick in the nuts. Dude was becoming my favorite player. I'm so sad for him, it's gotta be so hard on his morale.

First thing Matheson said was how he was one of their best at carrying the puck and it will be sorely missed.

I'd say he was the only one who could.

RIP King, see you on the other side babyboy.

That shit hurt so bad. Him coming back after so long just to get injured almost right after.

We were a different team with prime Markov. He had Price's impact before Price entered his prime.

Maybe we deserve it for the galaxy brain GMing of staking our entire future on players who haven't lived up to their potential

Of all the players on our team that we might have lost for the season I'd be hard pressed to find a more worse case scenario.

Sure losing Caufield or Slaf like this would be awful, but I feel losing Dach has more damaging repercussions for the team an organization as a whole. His continuing progression was vital for both he and his linemates and team in general.

I'm sad :(

What? He’s missed games literally every season going back to junior.. I may just be a fan but I don’t need to be a doctor to see that. He’s been a bandaid his entire career. How am I suppose to know if he has anything chronic going on or if he’s just an antenna for bad luck?

As I already said, he didn't suffer any injuries in the 2019-20 season.

He played three games in the AHL and 64 in the NHL. It was a shortened season because of COVID. Months later, he suited up for 9 more in the playoffs.

One healthy season in 5 isn’t really the flex you think it is.

Whether it’s being weak or just terrible bad luck, it’s still a recurring theme.

It was a nothing hit. Even Drouin could have handled it.

Shit. I see on RDS “Saison terminee?”
It’s exactly why people can’t judge by watching on TV. It’s obviously not a ‘’nothing hit’’. His leg got stuck under Tinordi’s and twisted by getting dragged.

But it’s nothing.
