Whoa.... I expected something but not 6 games. It was 3 or 4 gloved punches to a turtled opponent - but I suppose considering Uens got 2 games for skating into a goalie that adds up...

Looking at the schedule to see what games he misses and of course his first game back? Against the Generals in Oshawa - sometimes it feels like the league does this on purpose...
He got 4 games for jumping Lockhart and 2 games are for it being his 4th fighting major of the season.

I paid for my season tickets to see the Generals - - not their opponents.

I’d prefer to watch top level opposition on top level teams like Saginaw and London.

But the worst players on the worst teams are at least good for a laugh.
And yet. You’re paying and he’s playing.

And yet. You’re paying and he’s playing.

Your reasoning is badly flawed and nonsensical.

When you go shopping at the grocery store is the minimum wage stock boy somehow superior to you because “you’re paying and he’s getting paid”?

I'll chime in and say, waste no more time on this guy. He probably heckles people at work (if he is employable). I would love to see a guy like this say stuff like this to or about Nate poole or to NAte when his dad is sitting there. I think he is about 6'6" or heyes in the same situation. These guys are gutless and have always been pretenders. How would he react if you said these things to his kid. Waste no more time. Let's talk hockey and whether we will beat OS on friday
I feel like I know who you're talking about hahaha

Well I aged out when skates were made of leather, hockey sticks were made of wood and shinpads were made from cereal boxes. I doubt you'd want to see me play now, lol.

I can still skate... about 10 feet before my back gives out. Back in my day, though, I could skate like a weak breeze and the boards were beauties for stopping me.
do you chirp the less skilled worker at the grocery store if they make a mistake,

Is this where they say "if you wanna make the pros, you better learn to take all kinds of abuse from fans!"?

The Owen Sound Attack Pak is coming to Friday's game.

We will be staying Thursday and Friday night in your lovely city.
One of our favorite trips!
You guys have the best fans in the ohl imo. Always respectful and despite a smaller city always good numbers. Safe travels down! And go fronts 😉

A major part of home ice advantage is having a raucous crowd that gets opponents off their game. This is accomplished via heckling - - not by ringing a cow bell or doing the wave.

Ridiculing Nate Poole by calling him a turtle after he got aggressive but then dropped to the ice with his hands covering his head when challenged to fight is totally acceptable heckling.

Ridiculing Gage Heyes for being a fringe player on a team that’s getting boat raced is also within the acceptable limits of heckling.

Proclaiming that to be “abusive” is trying way too hard to shield an underperforming team and its players.

This is an issue with society as a whole having gone way too far overboard in decreeing what constitutes an “offensive personal attack” on someone.

I’m surprised that a section of an arena is permitted to be referred to as an “asylum” given how that can be construed as being offensive to those with mental health issues.

Believe it or not, Crazy Sock Day and Crazy Hair Day have been outlawed in public schools because the word “crazy” is too offensive. They’re now tabbed as Wacky Sock Day and Wacky Hair Day.
Ritchie turtled to velliaris on Peterborough and Lockhart turtled to Schmidt but we haven’t heard much of that from you lol. Guess it only fits the agenda if it’s a player turtling the gens (btw Poole if he gets 1 more concussion he is done playing hockey for good per a doctor so I’d give him some slack there)

Lockhart was going at Schmidt the whole game and they’ve both played in the league for 5 years. Lots of time for stuff to build up not to mention probably playing minor hockey too. If Lockhart is going to talk all that shit he should back it up or just quit it entirely before next time he gets hurt whether it’s from Schmidt or someone else.

Why would I heckle players on the team that I support? That defies logic.

If you were at the game and wanted to heckle Ritchie for getting pummelled, go right ahead. I can assure you that I’d never be triggered by it or accuse you of something tantamount to child abuse for doing so.

I commented on the Ritchie incident in the Oshawa forum as well as in the Peterborough forum.

Much like Nate Poole, Ritchie tried to rough things up in a skirmish with Velliaris. So Velliaris dropped the gloves, which is totally expected.

Lockhart was in Schmidt’s head right from the start of the game, and you knew it was just a matter of time until Schmidt did something even dumber than turning the puck over and costing his team a goal as he did in the 1st period.

Unlike Ritchie, Lockhart wasn’t trying to rough things up when Schmidt finally went into full meltdown mode.

I was laughing when Schmidt leaped in Lockhart’s back and started punching him in the helmet because it was the culmination of getting in his head all night. When Lockhart got up, he was laughing too.

The funniest thing is, Velliaris got a four game suspension and Schmidt got six games. I don’t think either warranted a suspension but if the league wants to sit down players on a rival team, I’m not going to argue with it.

I don’t believe Ritchie was trying to draw Velliaris into a penalty/suspension but Lockhart was most definitely doing so with Schmidt. Unfortunately for Kingston, Schmidt was dumb enough to fall for it.

As for Nate Poole, if he’s so fragile that one more concussion will end his career WHY is he trying to mix things up after the whistle? Just skate away to the bench so as not to put yourself at risk of a concussion and let the rest of the players have at it.

I’m just saying it is pretty hypocritical to be going after Poole when 2 of your players have done the same thing. In Poole defence doctors told him to stop fighting which is how he got concussions in the first place- 2 years ago he would’ve dropped the gloves with anyone in the league, don’t think it’s the same for Lockhart and Ritchie.

Half the league is all talk it happens on every team in every game, are you new to ohl hockey? Or do you just enjoy stirring up the fun with fans?

Schmidt's was the same length based on the incident alone, but because they called it "fighting" and it was the third he got an extra 2 for his 3rd fighting major of the year.

Ignoring the heckle stuff because I'm staying away from that, the only thing I don't like is players like Lockhart never face the music. They poke and prod but they always do it at bigger players so they have an excuse to turtle.

In many ways yes

Lockhart definitely plays with an edge and I love that about his game.

It can be frustrating when undersized players - - or really players if any size - - get chippy. When that happens, you absolutely CANNOT be suckered into losing your composure and doing dumb things like Schmidt and Kingston did on Sunday.

The solution is very simple - - just give the choppiness right back to them. There’s always going to be opportunities to finish a check. There’s also going to be times for an inconspicuous slash across the wrist or back of the legs.

Sooner or later the little undersized pest will be frustrated enough to drop the gloves and get rag dolled - - as we saw on Sunday with Heyes getting manhandled in his fight with Bedkowski.

Bedkowski wanted nothing to do with Heyes didn’t even throw a punch so he tried to get him on the takedown lol definitely didn’t manhandle Heyes

Nice troll job. Lol. You’ve done a decent job of working up Fronts fans with your questionnable actions at the game and by bragging about said actions and adding passive aggressive comments (like this one) on the Fronts board to get a reaction.

There’s something in the drinking water in Oshawa, between Donnie Degenerate and Gens Live, they view a game in Oshawa in dream form. Saying Heyes was rag dolled is comical, Bedkowski has about 5 inches on Heyes and was trying to get away from him or at least that’s what it looked like, there were no real winners, but Heyes deserves full kudos for going right after him on that elbow.

The guy has never played a game in his life, or any sport for that matter. He is probably 50-60 lbs overweight and obviously unhappy with his life. Let him go on, he is embarrassing himself if that is possible. If he were a stand up person, he would make himself know. Our anonymously tough world allows these people to be cowards and do this.

obviously a troll has dubas as profile picture at McDonald’s lol. Still his takes are pretty funny with how bad they are

It’s nothing personal, my friend. I just call it as I see it.

Like at the deadline when I explained how senseless it was for Kingston to be giving away picks because they were going nowhere this year.

Now people are beginning to understand what I was talking about.

I would not be shocked if it was his dream job...
The avatar doesn't even make sense either Dubas is now making more money they he ever has running the Pens and doesn't have Shanny breathing down his throat telling him what to do anymore.

Yeah, but, who hasn’t secretly wanted to ask, “Would you like fries with that?”
