I think they go for a long term. It really isn’t about how far it is to get from point A to Point B. It is about how difficult the travel is once you get there.Believe that’s right.
Still though imagine travelling from brandon all the way to victoria. Unreal. Personally I’m surprised they don’t have a league in between for Manitoba and Saskatchewan with a few American teams and then the west with bc/Alberta and a few American teams.
Chl could definitely expand more. Whl has an all American division
Brandon played in:
Calgary Jan 12
Victoria Jan 15
Everett Jan 17
Vancouver Jan 19
Kelowna Jan 21
Kamloops Jan 22
Prince George Jan 24
Brandon to Calgary is 11 hours. That sucks. Calgary to Victoria is 13 hours. That would be 7 hours after the afternoon game in Calgary to Kelowna. Then the other six hours on Jan 13 to Victoria. But the rest of the trip from Victoria to Prince George is 18 hours. That is over 9 days so an average of 2 hours per day. It isn’t all that crazy. One trip every year for two weeks isn’t the end of the world.
