Kings Win; Kings 4 Snow Piles 2

I am Cautious with the (Kings are back feeling). Kopitar has to maintain his dominance over the rest of the season for the Kings to have shot.

The only thing the Kings have shown this year, is that they are inconsistent. One thing is for sure though; When Kopitar is the best center on the ice for both teams, the Kings win games convincingly.

True, but over the last 3 seasons has this team been anything but consistently inconsistent in the regular season? And... it's resulted in 2 cups in 3 seasons.

At this point, you just gotta rely on DL and trust this group of guys.

Let go of the reigns for a bit and live a little.

I like how that fan threw Talbot under the bus, as if he weren't the reason the game was close and Hank would have done much better.

It's Ranger fan being Ranger fan. No one can ever beat them . They beat themselves and we should all buy lottery tickets after beating this team of generational players.

The guys at FS1 had a field day with this tonight.

How so? Winnipeg has a very tough schedule. Unless you're saying Vancouver because they are in our division, I'd say Winnipeg.

Winnipeg is the more likely candidate, but it only needs to be one of the 4. Kings did themselves a world of favors tonight with the win. A Jets loss was a nice bonus, considering they were up 2-0 early.

It never really sunk in how many games this team has played until Sportsnet pointed it out last night.

2011-12: 102 games
2012-13: 66 games
2013-14: 106 games
2014-15: 73 games (and counting)

That's a **** load to take both physically & mentally. Add on the Olympics for a few players as well.

Wow! That is an insane amount.

Yup. Too often have we seen this kings one game then hot garbage the next.

This. Exactly this. They still need to get 2/3 of the available points, so they have to look like this TWICE for every visit of the hockey IQ brainsucker-inflicted version of the Kings, through the next nine games. *crossing fingers*

Still think 7 out of 10 points will be a fantastic trip. Almost there after two games. Kings need 12 more points to get them to 98. 18 possible points left. Plus games against Calgary and Vancouver. Gonna be close.

Mike Richards was good. He was setting up his line mates and was sound defensively. The guy's skating is so bad, though. He's very, very slow. You can tell he's got a lot of tread on his tires.

Yeah, I don't have a lot of hope for him the rest of this year. Maybe he can bounce back with a strong offseason, but the guy is seriously skating out there like he's got a peg leg.

So far, that's 347 games played since 2011. :amazed:

Holy ****.

The Kings have played more playoff games in the past 3 years than any team EVER.

My favorite win of the season so far. So happy to see the Rag fans whining about yet another loss to the better team. Even without Pearson and Voynov in the line up we took beat them at their best. As for their Hank nonsense we beat him enough over the past few seasons to where I don't think it would have mattered much. Great win now lets move on to the next game. Should be a tough one against the Isles.

Actually that is not that much, 4 full regular seasons have 328 games. At the end of this regular season Kings will play 356 games(or just 28 games over 328).

Total amount of games is fine(teams with 3 straith 1st round exits should have similar amount), but number of playoff games and 2 very short offseasons have much greater impact.
