Kings Win; Kings 4 Snow Piles 2

Going late into every summer has been exhausting, but the lockout 'helped' a little...problem is for guys who have had surgeries (Quick et. al.) there's not much recovery and conditioning time. And that's without the nagging or other injuries we don't hear about, like I'm sure groin tweaks, bad contusions, stuff that would normally sideline you for a month or so in the offseason.

The guys have mileage.

It never really sunk in how many games this team has played until Sportsnet pointed it out last night.

2011-12: 102 games
2012-13: 66 games
2013-14: 106 games
2014-15: 73 games (and counting)

That's a **** load to take both physically & mentally. Add on the Olympics for a few players as well.

For Kopitar you can add 31 games in Sweden during lock-out and 5 games for Slovenia on Olympics. And he missed 4 games in that period in NHL...

So far, that's 347 games played since 2011. :amazed:

Holy ****.

eh - 86 games ave in 4 years only 4 more than a regular season. Your playing 20 min a game. That is about 29 hours of hard work a year. Most of the guys are in their twenties. If anything they are mentally tired they should not be physically tired.

There should be zero talk (Excuses). If the Kings don't make the playoffs just means they were just not good enough this year. Let's give these other teams credit.
I hope they get in and if they do they have as good a chance as anyone to win it all again.

2012-13 was an abbreviated 48-game schedule. Don't forget that.

Working night shifts right now so I've been missing quite a few of the games, but logging in at midnight to see that we won was a nice treat :)

Get some more points boyz.

Hey Rags...

That's how I see it.

I like how that fan threw Talbot under the bus, as if he weren't the reason the game was close and Hank would have done much better.

Hank would've scored 3 goals, duh!

I love that beer. And let me say that I'm completely over the fad of trying to shove as much hops into a bottle that is humanly possible. I really don't get it. I don't mind a good IPA but it is getting ridiculous with the amount of them on the market and quite a bit of them aren't very good (imo). I don't know if you've ever tried Chainbreaker White IPA from Dechutes but that is a great beer IMO. It's a white ale mixed with an IPA so the hoppy factor is deluded a bit.

I agree with that. Like I said before, they have the same finish line of 94-98 points. Overachieving or not, that's a great year. If we don't reach that, that's our fault.
