Kings now fifth in GA/G at 2.40. Sekera is an upgrade over Voynov and Martinez has stabilized the defense by returning. Kings are waking up at the right time and will be a force. As displayed by their clinical and thorough beatdown tonight.

Anyone expecting Sekera to just come in and play lights out after one week or practice/Games; doesn't know anything about Hockey or how the game is played.

It takes time to adjust, to new surroundings, system, team mates, speed of play. The Kings play at a much higher pace than Carolina, it was an adjustment for Sekera.

It takes Time, escpecially for Defenders. Remember how bad RR looked in his first month of being a King ? Remember that ?

All true. Unfortunately the team probably needed instant adjustment from him to make the playoffs.

I am Cautious with the (Kings are back feeling). Kopitar has to maintain his dominance over the rest of the season for the Kings to have shot.

The only thing the Kings have shown this year, is that they are inconsistent. One thing is for sure though; When Kopitar is the best center on the ice for both teams, the Kings win games convincingly.

Muzzin is having a career year across the board. G/A/P. Muzzin needs to clean up his minus play though. I love you Muzz, but you can't afford to cost the Kings goals buddy.

they are only 2 points ahead of the Kings, although they do have quite a few more regulation wins in hand. it could happen!

I thought they had mellowed down after 2012 but lately it's right back to 2011 era levels of chest thumping over every little thing from the #moralvictory game to a late-season win after we've embarrassed them all year. Now I remember why it's a rivalry!
