A lot of players are performing like they don't care and look completely disinterested. Richards is the most obvious culprit of this, but it goes all the way down to Carter and Brown and Williams and Kopitar and Penner. Not only are they a step behind, but they're taking bad penalties, they're not hustling, they're all just complacent.
For the third game in a row, Clifford and Nolan (and Quick) were the best players on the ice. The defense has been fine, but the offense is just not doing enough. It isn't only their lack of goal scoring and the impotent powerplay that's problematic, but it is their lack of scoring chances.
How many times was Dubnyk tested tonight? Just like the Colorado game, this team fell asleep as soon as the third period started. They had no business winning this game and laid flat against the Oilers, Avalanche and Hawks. These guys better wake up and pull their heads out their ***** soon or they're going to find themselves in a hole that is going to be difficult to crawl out of.
