Some of you need a reality check.

It's just a hockey game.

Look to the left.

<---- That's the reality, okay?

So you're just happy with one championship? And then what? They go back to being bad again? Come on, stop living in the past, time to move on and watch this team become more than a one-year wonder. Start of this season has been horrendous, they haven't played well for a full game yet.

I know it's only been 3 games, but Richards is only getting more irritating to watch after each passing game.

in other news, Kings played 2 and a half periods....maybe next game they'll play 3 periods?

Worst looking powerplay in the league.

Richards showing no heart, and gets rewarded with the "A"? Yeah ... okay.

I'm honestly happy the Oilers won this game, we had no business even getting a point out of it.

Oh well, at least I wont be able to watch the game tomorrow night.

For as frustrating as this is for us imagine how the team feels.

(posted it here)

I hate the way this game went but I am happy for what it will do for our team. It is going to take a flew slaps to the face of everyone including mgmt to get us going again. No time to panic, just time to realize that the cup goes to the best team in hockey and to remember how hard you had to work every shift of every game to get there.

We are going to be just fine as soon as we get down to business. It will take losing to these types of terrible teams (until they stop winning the draft lottery the Oilers are a terrible team to me) to get us right again.

Not really worried, I am going to see what Sutter does.

Clifford and Nolan looked awesome again.

Quick looked great, Top six guys look gassed, everyone but Carter/Clifford.

Scuds is logging to many minutes, The Kings are going to continue to lose till Mitchell gets back (I really believe that).

So I am not even going to sweat it. Won't win a single game in January.

Unless Mitchell comes back.

I knew EDM was gonna win this as soon as Yakupov scored. At least Clifford brought some life into the 2nd line, but Richards needs to quit the lackadaisical play. That was a disgusting change by him that led to the PP. Kopi isn't 100%. Everyone is playing like balls.

lol so this.

The Kings can not win another game for at least 5 years before i start getting mad about

I guess the Kings decided to play real good for about 20 games and then... back to old Kings.

But damn I hate games with a lot of posts. Cling of ****ing death

Here is a big problem.

The Kings system is built on strength down the middle.

Kopitar is coming off of injury
Richards has been TERRIBLE
Stoll is at this point a 4th line center
Fraser is a 4th line center

Richards needs to wake up and atleast play at a respectable 2nd line level, we all accept the fact that he may never be that guy we thought we were getting but at this point he isn't even Bryan Smolinski.

Stoll needs to stop being out there in important spots. Was out there on the PK for that first goal taken away (covering no one in front of the net), then is right back out there, loses the faceoff cleanly and they score. Then in OT he stupidly touches the puck when he knows Richards isn't off. I mean that is a play a smart bantam player would not make, yet here is an NHL player with just no clue. But again, why expect anything different from #28. I'm not going to criticize DL because he has done a damn good job the last couple of years, but signing this garbage player to a 3 year deal will turn out to be a disaster, he gets worse and worse with each passing shift. I would, in all honestly rather have Westgarth out there.

On the bright side, the defense seems to be holding up pretty well without Greene and Mitchell. Scuderi was a warrior our there and Drewiske is playing the best hockey of his life.

The Kings problem is clearly in the Top 6. 4 goals in 3 games ain't gonna cut it in this league.

How can we smack the best 3 teams in the West like little children and then lose to literally a group of children

Quick was awesome, so was clifford. Also was happy with Nolan. I hope Mitchell is back for the next game, Scuderi and Doughty can't do it all on the PK... And yeah, Richards looks bad. Hopefully he turns it around soon-ish. As Ron says, no reason to get pissed, It'll be ok.

I see a lot of positives. How many posts did we hit tonight? You know Dubs was going to bring it after that disaster against San Jose.

This team will be fine. Sure the puck isn't bouncing our way, but it isn't due to lack of effort.

This team is going to be right there when it counts. Just watch.

Weird game. Tough loss, but not the end of the world. It will take some time to get going. Just look at Boston's start last year. They went the first month 3-7-0 and the next month 12-0-1. We still have a ton of season left.

We spent almost half of those first two periods on the PP looking like clowns

Scuderi is playing too much. He's getting gassed. Dean needs to land a vet dman to take some pressure off Scuderi until Mitchell comes back.
