Oh… and had to buy that firearm too….That win cost $1200+ $16.99 for the tassels. Keep your eyes out for a go fund me.
We pulled off the ol' "Lay an egg, then win away" strategyWill be there tonight. Feels like the kind of game where we might come out and lay an egg. Crazy to think this crappy team might be overconfident and have a "trap game"
This team has me going threw tums
All he had to do was look at the ref. As a broadcaster with 20+ years experience he should be looking for signals from the official.Well. It's time for some WINNER PIE!!! I told Clean Gene during the first intermission that tonight was working on those pecan pinwheels you used to get 8/50 cents, ha! Boys apparently didn't like that scenario. Marchessault and Blankenberg you get first slices but everyone gets whipped cream because that was quite a game. Yeah, Juuse too.
Go Preds!
@vipera1960 I was in the arena and if I hadn't seen the light go off I wouldn't have known it was a goal. It was a few seconds before the Sharks players celebrated and they were delayed in putting the goal on the scoreboard. I think in this one case Willy might have been right.
The Marchessault Jersey is 4-0. You know what to do.

And this is actually the thing I find most frustrating about Willy. If this was a baseball or basketball or football play and he didn’t know what happened, he would immediately look to the officials (and what signals they made) to see what the ruling “on the field” (or “on the court”) was going to be. When it comes to hockey though, he just throws his hands up and says “no one knows.”
Maybe it’s an epidemic. Pete Weber seemed to know it was a goal though. The Marchessault Jersey is 4-0. You know what to do.
I just watched video on NHL Network and the SJS crew didn't realize it either. Puck was stuck in the net.
