Why do we have to target a second line center when we have the perfect one in Carter? If Richards is just Drury 2.0 now he needs to go. Really sucks this happened , but the old saying is rather trade him a year early than a year late. Philly traded him a year early, we got the cup, now it's a year late.

Yes I know. I know Richards a lone wouldn't fetch a top 6 center. It has to be a package. For filpulla it's gotta be a big one.

Keep adding then. Richards, a 1st, retaining 50% of the salary, and...?

If the Kings are adding Filppula, that will make them better, so the 1st is going to be a lower 1st. Richards is a non-factor at the moment, and hasn't gotten much better as the season has gone on. You have to give Tampa something to trade a 2nd line center for a 4th line center. Something like Toffoli? Carter?

If Richards is so bad that the Kings have to trade him, he's got no value.

We need a heart transplant.

RR was the only honest guy in that post presser.

RR "Our game has needed a lot of work all year".

The Core is fine winning only one Cup, These guys have mailed it in if you ask me.

Quick is the only guy (that looks like he wants multiply Cups).

from what i understandd the compliance buyout window has long since closed

There's one more round. After this year, then all buyouts are just a normal buyout, and whatever percentage of the contract stays on the payroll for however many years. One more chance to just pay up a whole bunch of money.

Last change will Give Sutter some room to work with.

But man the Whole team is just not playing 60 minutes....

Again it doesn't matter what the lineup is if your whole roster is not giving 100%.

Maybe he'll have some confidence in Pearson playing at home instead of dressing 7 dmen which worked out so well. The revolving door of lines was one of his more troubling coaching decisions to start the game.

ah i didnt know that. good for the team but not good for a couple guys in particular....

I wouldn't be surprised if these Kings get swept.

They look like they don't care at all in these post pressers.

Well if LA is out early maybe Vey/Pearson/Toffoli/Jones can help Monarchs win their first Calder Cup.

Yeah, you're not going to get a young 2nd line center for Richards. Sorry.

Never said Kings would.

Richards isn't landing anyone, that's a pipe dream.

Smart thing to do, is buyout Richards, let Mitchell/Greene walk.

That's 11 million in cap space.

Sign the Best available Defender in the Off-season, and sign a LW.

Yup, a win tuesday changes everything, can pretty much forget how this all started tbh.

A loss, on the other hand...have fun at Capgeek guys!

Starting to question if these current guys even want it.

They seem to be not even angry about getting embarrassed first two games.

The Kings in 2012 were pissed they lost game Five to Jersey....LIVID.
