Kings Lose 7-2

Muzzin had his minutes cut in half, A-Mart only played 10 minutes.

Drew has played the lowest minutes total out of his career in the playoff's (so far).

Stoll has been just eat up by James Shepp's line.

For as much flak as Richards is getting. Stoll is getting DESTROYED by James Shepp.

This Series is over I think.

Kopitar is only Center right now holding his own.

Guys we might see McNabb get called up. The Blue-Line sounds unhealthy yet again.

It was against crap teams.

Stoll right now (who has played well) is getting DESTROYED by James Shepp.

I like Carter, I really do, but Shepp and Thornton are going to have their way with Kings centers.

This Sharks team is going to eat up any Kings center not named Kopitar.

Also Kopitar is barely holding his own.

The Sharks Centers are just eating the Kings up BIG TIME.

No clue. Guessing experience, but that's no excuse. Fully agree with you here.

Those d injuries scare me but I think it's more likely we see Campbell than McNabb if we need a callup
 
Not even as bad as I thought. Plus with Couture's history and the shoddy lighting, I wouldn't be shocked if that was his leg and not crotch.

Does that matter all that much right now? If the Kings had been within a goal in both games, then maybe the question is worth asking. Gaborik, Williams, and Toffoli have been nowhere to be found. What does Pearson do in these two games?
 
Maybe if the Kings started taking runs and hitting the sharks, they'd have banged up defenseman too.
 
There's the small part of me that says we're down 2-0 in the series, somewhere we've been before and nothing insurmountable. Regardless of the scores, we've needed to win 3 games at home and 1 on the road and we haven't failed that yet.

But the overwhelming majority of my consciousness is ****ing embarrassed that with all the confidence I've had in this team we've been utterly steamrolled.
 
The problem really coming too light is the Sharks Center Depth is eating the Kings up.

The Sharks Centers are just lambasting the Kings.

Yeah I agree with you on that one. There is a lot of hockey left in this kid, and the best is still to come. I know personally I would invest in Toffoli. I know most Sharks fans on the boards like him, in fact... it's and inside joke that he was drafted by the Sharks. That is how sure some of us were that SJ was going to draft him, but LA got him.

Don't give up on the kid.

Sutter pretty much address this without saying it.

"We don't have an answer for the Sharks Pavs/Shepp line".

Meaning, I don't have Centers that can match those guys play.

I think that's why Sutter has been so calm through all this.

He knows this lineup is just not getting it done.

Yeah, there's a reason almost everyone considers him untouchable. He's a special player.
 
I actually like Muzzin at this point. He is pretty much a rookie who does get beat and cough up the puck at time(no more the Voynov) but he also hits like a truck, can skate and adds offence while sporting a 2015 cap hit of only a mil. If the kid can settle the nerves a wee bit and realize he has that extra half a second out there he will provide great bang for the buck.

Brown will be back, contract and DL's loyalty suggest that. I would take the pressure off and release him of the "C". Just let him go play his game.

Gabby won't down hard to start the game. He may be hurting, give him a few days rest before we judge.

Quick does not look right. Saying that he pisses razor blades and will keep us in this. If it was legal to make him captain, he would be it.

What Clifford does for our team I do not know. He is Lewis without the speed, and defensive ability. That's the polite way of saying he sucks.

We have showed through 3 periods we are evenly matched and can out score the Sharks. We have also showed it takes minor mistakes for this system to fail. Clifford's giveaway for the first goal broke the camels back and it shouldn't have. After the second goal Sutter need to call a TO and re-focus the team.

I love Sutter and his sarcastic witty interviews and the fact he guided us to the cup, but he may be the person I am most disappointed in.

We have seen Quick go beast mode before and he alone could turn this series around. The same could be said about Brown or DD. we are not out of this yet. The Sharks have a pedigree of coming up short. Lets get out there and let our boys know we have there back next game!

had a good lol at the end. Yeah, it was a nothing play and possibly embellished by couture, certainly not the 'spear' i was expecting, but still a stupid, cowardly play at that time of game. Show some ****ing heart before we're down five goals and I can excuse that.

Yeha, that is a big issue. Never seen Stoll so overmatched--that's our biggest problem. Everything else is obviously so completely ****ed up too :laugh: but for a team that's 'built down the middle', we sure look like junior varsity.

Again credit the Sharks' game plan and hunger, that's one pissed-off team that our guys look disinterested in matching as well as better commands from mission control.

Big picture, I'm worried what this looks like for our younger guys--we need our older guys at least showing heart so guys like Toffoli know not to half ass it--not that i'm really worried about him because he's trying like crazy out there but the worst thing that could happen for the culture of this team is to mail it in.

Grow up. I'm being realistic. It's not as if the Kings lost games in OT or lost by a bounce here or there. They got trampled. They acknowledged they weren't ready for game 1, they prepared for the 2nd game, got trampled again. whether it's injuries or being outclassed, it's a joke for you to sit here and claim that I don't care because I don't see the Kings coming back in the series.
 
I bet the monarchs would give the sharks a more difficult match up lol
