Well interesting stuff coming out LA times peeps.

Apparently A-Mart/RR/Drew/Muzzin are all banged up.

Muzzin had his minutes cut in half, A-Mart only played 10 minutes.

Drew has played the lowest minutes total out of his career in the playoff's (so far).

A-Mart/Greene were victimized the most.

Stoll has been just eat up by James Shepp's line.

For as much flak as Richards is getting. Stoll is getting DESTROYED by James Shepp.

This Series is over I think.

Kopitar is only Center right now holding his own.

Guys we might see McNabb get called up. The Blue-Line sounds unhealthy yet again.

Kings sold their soul in 2012. 6 defensemen played all 20 games, with seemingly no injuries. One of a number of things that the Kings did in the 2012 playoffs that just doesn't happen.

Even if LA somehow holds down the fort at home, I don't see them winning in San Jose. And we all know who holds home ice...

Yeah. This series is over, lol.

And now the injury excuse comes out again. Can't we just admit that two key players from 2012 (Richards, Brown) are ghosts of their former selves, and the defense is an absolute sinkhole of suck? It just it was it is. Quick isn't stealing anything, either.

Game over, dudes. Hopefully Lombardi can emotionally deal with a retool and get rid of some of his "sons."

I think this lineup just doesn't have it.

The Blue-Line apparently is not healthy again....Stoll is getting just taken to task with his match-up.

Kopitar seems to be the only Center not losing ground.

That means you're done.

i haven't seen anyone making any excuses.

Since you've given up after two games, I expect you'll be recanting after game three :D

I'll say it,

I mean There isn't a Center on the Kings holding ground except Kopitar.

Stoll/Richards are getting just eat up all over the ice.

You can't hide that with last change.

Kopitar and Carter are the only forwards buzzing and Jake Muzzin is our best defender. Yikes.

Yikes.....Stoll man......He has some really ugly advanced numbers against SJ third line.

Stoll is getting schooled.

I didn't give up after we lost two in St. Louis in 2013. They were incredibly close games that could have gone either way. I knew the bounces would catch up and we could easily take that series.

This is an entirely different can of worms.

We've given up 12 goals against in two games, one of which we had a 2 goal lead going into the second period. That's like the Kings bread and butter. How many times have we gone up two goals, no matter how early, and just knew that we had already won.

The defense is a mess, our bottom six is getting crucified, and the guys we call "captain" and "cannon" are completely invisible, just like they have been all year.

I'll watch game three just like everyone else and hope against hope that things turn around, but it's time to be honest with ourselves here. This team just doesn't have it anymore. I'll be shocked if we win one game at home, much less two. There is NOTHING that this team has showed me this year that tells me they're capable of winning this series, seeing how the first two games have gone.

Jake is.....

Oddly enough Muzzin has still managed to maintain a decent Corsi rating..

Hehe Muzzin is like a Corsi god.

The Muzzin/Drew pairing is still on the right side of the Corsi/GA/possession side.

That's with Both hurt, and Muzzin/Drew playing reduced minutes.

Aren't ghosts and sinkholes excuses? Injuries can be what it is too. Or not. Or some combination of both.

Excuses, reasons, it's all the same. Are the Kings as bad as 13 goals in 2 games? Are the Sharks as good as 13 goals in 2 games? I doubt either one is the case, since nobody, anywhere, would've predicted the results in the first two games. Even the Hawks didn't do this to a beat up Kings team in the 3rd round last year.

Jake Muzzin is a +2 (Also a + Corsi rating) when the Kings have given up 13 goals in two games.....WHAT ?

LOL

Jake Muzzin is the only + player on the TEAM right now.

LOL....go Jake go!!! Show them how it's done! (I'm never calling him muffin again, unless he screws up very badly. ;))

Seriously though, when your best defenseman is Jake ****ing Muzzin...yeesh.

Can someone enlighten me as to why Pearson was ever sat in the first place? When we were rolling a top six of Gaborik-Kopitar-Williams and Pearson-Carter-Toffoli with Richards on the fourth line we looked great and won like 7 in a row. Why did we ever mess with that?

Jake Muzzin is also the Kings top Scorer right now through Two games....

So in other words.....Jake Muzzin has been the Kings best player on the ice.....

My god folks.
