Just like Carter since being punched in the face. Really since the bye week though. 0 non-empty net goals for Carter since Feb 9th. Quite the fall from grace for him. Team MVP to not doing a damn thing.

How many times have we heard that? Not prepared to play, and not playing at the level needed to win. Great job guys.
This team has clearly lost its identity. A message has to be sent, and I hope we get to see a house cleaning. This team isn't going to respond to any minor changes.
There is a complete lack of cohesion, intensity, aggression, creativity, etc. This is a disjointed team.

The biggest disappointment of this game was how they layed down after Doughty got hit. They didn't even care.

What a year for that guy. Signs a huge deal, gets the C, and then has the worst season of his career. Couldn't have worse timing for all of that to happen. It's like Brown in 13-14, but multiplied by a couple levels.

Stay tuned! But seriously, that's how I feel. Several games ago I gave up hope of the Kings making the playoffs. Now, I'm just enjoying it for what it is, the hockey and the storylines to follow.
I want to see MacDermid and Auger up next time we see Calgary and Tkachuk. Either that or a rule change so that when a goon elbows a star player in the head the coming suspension has to be served by the team's best player.
Why not bring up more kids? If we can't commit to winning, let's commit to seeing what we have in Ontario and trying to get a decent draft pick in weak draft?
As for Carter, other teams know they can put 3 guys on Carter and our scoring is virtually shut down.
And hey! Kopi scored tonight.

Yeah because in a pivotal game that night just salvage a little bit of the season and continue that flicker of hope he puts three guys out that it's combined for 10 goals together. Yes our captain has played Crappy and only scored 10 himself but there is a lot greater chance that the kings score with him on the ice den three bottom pairing, fringe NHL'ers.

Sutter has done great thongs as a coach, but the core has been stuck in a funk the last 3 years and it's not going to get better. This team has too much talent for it to be this lost.

I'd say that's sort of called coaching. Try and send some type of message to the players. He's actually doing something.
I hope Sutter is back next year, and completely drives the top players on this team crazy. I hope it gets so bad that they call the PA, all walk into Lombardi's office, who I hope is back next year too, voluntarily rip up their own contracts, walk out, and Muzzin somehow ends up with a -4 and looks down at his feet.
