You are correct in that he still has a lot of work to do defensively. Like Stevens said, give up 5 feet in the NHL and it can hurt you. Walker in his 3 games had a terrible GA per 60 minutes played, worst on the team. Some of it was Phaneuf's fault, but that's the way it goes.

Agreed, he has some work, but the whole advanced stats, don't tell the entire picture, especially in a 3 game stint etc, he did some excellent things, and he did some brain dead things, all to be expected with rookies etc.

In the short-term, the Los Angeles Kings and New York Rangers are candidates for early shakeups. They each have three players on the board. It’s believe GM Rob Blake would like to pull the trigger on a trade to try and shake the Kings (3-7-1) out of the Western Conference basement before resorting to a coaching change. The Rangers (4-7-1) may as well hasten their rebuild and get an important look at young players by moving pending unrestricted free agent vets.

That means months

Depends, 24 years ago, had mine done, doctor said 4-6 weeks......with medical technology advancing and him, being a much better athlete and conditioned....I would say 4-6 weeks really depending.....hard to figure out why they would say indefinitely with this type of surgery etc.

THIS TEAM MAKES ME EXTERNALLY SCREAM, THERE GOES ANY/ALL MOMENTUM WE HAD FFS

So continuing to ride a bunch of old dudes--in NHL terms--isn't going to work?

It's like this team hasn't had two major injuries to core players in each of the last two seasons. While Carter's was flukey, it appears to have had long-term ramifications on his skating ability so it is the gift that keeps on giving.

What you got to do is add a 35 year old on top of it for three more seasons.

The "assets" this team has continue to depreciate every season. With such a weak pipeline, it is going to be disastrous to continue pretending they are a contender while not getting as much value as possible.

I've got seats to every home game of this mess and I want more than anything for them to sell off and put out a horrible product. Much more fun watching the Crawford Kings than this trash.
