I guess I imagined Kempe having one goal and one assist, and a 0.13 shooting percentage. He has such a nice shot that he scores once every 40-odd games.
Apparently the liquor got to me....not that "person" (that's something HF is making me do instead of using the word I really really want to) ideas about hockey, holy **** some people are flat out ignorant about the game....
LOL, gotta love those examples. He has one goal and one assist on the season, but because he made a nice play once in a while, then that proves you are right versus 50+ samples that prove contrary.
You use one game as an example but ignore the longer list of games where he's done nothing and talk about small sample size. That is hilarious.
You truly are blessed. Have a good night. Try to consume less liquor before you post.

And some people deny the truth. You can go ahead and call facts "fake news."
I also love how often you have to stoop to name calling because you know you're wrong. I appreciate spreading my knowledge to others. You might learn something once you pull your head out of the sand.
Based on Kyle Clifford's last goal, he must have some untapped offensive potential and should get top line minutes.
The only truth is that you are ignorant about the game, and are hiding it by using sample sizes of 15 ****ing games.....actually is it even 15 yet? Probably not
Based on your last post, I think you passed Sol as the most "person" on this site when it comes to the game,
You should probably stick to badminton....
Ewww.Go ahead and post your impressive resume again. It gets me all hot and steamy when you get riled up.
It's bigger than that and goes back to the previous season, but go ahead, ignore those numbers.

I guess your lonely on a Friday....let's just leave it at.....a helluva lot longer than yours Sparky...
Alright John Holmes keep it rated K
Ziggy, with all this negativity buddy, you really should go find an open mic night at at coffee house down there around Melrose, and just pour that pain out bud....poetry, song, acting, however you need to let it go and express, it's really eating ya up inside
I hear screaming at the sky is a thing in California theses days
Yeah, posting numbers that prove a point about an inconsistent player who has zero identity and is struggling to adjust to a position he cannot handle is exhibiting negativity. Because bringing up facts and examples of other 22-year-old players who were former first round picks and were highly touted who peaked early is something that won't happen to Kempe.
Sorry for expressing my concerns with a team that is ranked 31st in the league and struggles to bring up productive talent. They certainly never struggle to score. Not at all. I'm just being negative bringing up numbers that I completely made up. I have no basis for anything I post and do it just to rile you up. That's how special you are, guy.
Max Domi had a 52 point season as a 20-year-old rookie, and even with his struggles in his third season, scored 45 points.
Kempe has never scored more than 28 points in the AHL, and his 37 points last season may be his career best.
It's like watching Vitali Yachmenev all over again, who scored 51 points as a 21-year-old rookie with the Kings, then came crashing back down to reality and hovered around 20-30+ points the rest of his career. What appeared to be a promising young forward who would replace Luc Robitaille's offense turned into a diminutive bottom six forward who'd chip in occasionally and would return to Russia at 29, where his numbers didn't improve all that much.
Those grounded in reality realize that players like Kempe or Pearson could have just peaked early. Look at other similarly aged forwards: Sam Bennett, Marko Dano, hell, Nail Yakupov is still only 25, and went through three teams. I guess those teams are completely clueless and have no patience.
Griffin Reinhart isn't a bust at all, he is still in his early 20s and will surely still become a top pairing defenseman. The Avs must have been impatient giving up on a 22-year-old Mikhail Grigorenko. I'm sure if they keep waiting that one of those guys could flourish to become the next Erik Rasmussen. Every player in their early 20s will pan out. Just ask the resident expert who knows jack****.
I never said he wasn't inconsistent...he is...I never said he had an identity, he is struggling to get one.....the fact that you brought up other 22 year olds who had multitude of chances...not just one season, says a lot more about you than it does about them.
It sure does. It proves you don't know what you're talking about. Those are proven examples that it isn't unheard of when players peak at an early age, which is what may have occurred with Kempe already. He's still capable of being an NHL regular, as was mentioned when he was compared to Trevor Lewis. But we all know reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, and neither is your knowledge of the sport. You're just a diehard Kings fan.
We expect slumps and inconsistencies from the kids, it's the big boys that deserve the most criticism. Perhaps Kempe could do with sitting for a game or two just to reset and refocus. Personally i'd sit Pearson first.
