Martinez has to be worth a 1st +. It would hurt to lose him but you have to make that deal. Having 3 1sts this season would be a step in the right direction...

It's not the player so much as the remaining term on his contract that's the issue for us. He is not having a good season, but hardly anyone is. Personally, I think he could help out another team and will probably rebound a bit next year. Getting older but he is a fitness nut. He's lost a couple of steps since his skate cut injury last year.
