I hope they won't be too stupid to play Riga in this particular jersey.

I voted number 2, they should change their name to Tigers or what ever that is in russian...

They better pick the Amur tiger and go full Cincinnati Bengals next year. Would be amazing.

Bears are way too commonplace. The Hunger Games bear is hilarious tho.

I don't know why so many people choose #6, it does not look authentic at all, it's too busy with details and the lettering seems unnecessary. #2 is the only logo I can see fitting on a hockey jersey, others might be good logos in general, but not for usage in sports. If you place #6 at jersey, it would either be too large or no one would see the details...
It's been a general tendency towards simplifying the logos in marketing, #6 is clearly an example how sports logo should not look like.

I agree on #2. They should've handed this rebranding to Antipin from the start without wasting time on another contest.

A Florida Panthers kind of name (Amur Tigers) would be pretty cool, but I think that wouldn't work as good in Russian?

Their MHL team is called Amur Tigers already, I think there is no point to change a name really.
Generally, plural nicknamish name is considered too American, it's fine to call an MHL team that way, but the main team should have a classic name, but we'll see whether Sochi will keep it in plural or not.
Another thing is that the KHL continues to be a league of bears and cats...

2 is awful, 6 is the cleanest looking one, hence why it leads in the polls.

How is it awful? It's a well drawn tiger head.

6 is kinda overstuffed and dark, it won't look good on jerseys, and also has lettering on the main logo, so it won't look good on TV graphics either. It also has a bear holding a hockey stick, which is a bit too minor league-ish.

What's the problem with that old Leningrad jersey?
Using city's Soviet name (and, well, it was no ordinary name :) ) and St.George ribbon on the jersey wouldn't have the best reaction in Riga.

When did SKA use it? And I doubt it had the ribbon on it originally?

You could have made that swastika jersey to celebrate your cultural heritage too. ;)
