Ancient Latvian Solar Symbol that has been used in folklore for ages & actually is an emblem of "good luck" HOWEVER.... obviously forever tainted by the Nazi's, and no, not the wisest move to be rolling that out particularly as frictions do exist between Latvia & Russia as it is along with the rest of the horrors such an emblem invokes. Most unfortunate that so ancient a symbol & part of not only Latvian but many other cultures as well was so forever corrupted & tarnished.

Windsor Nova (pictured above) Scotia, I believe either Edmonton or Winnipeg along with Fernie BC had teams named the Swastikas' in the early part of the 20th Century.

Back when those jerseys were introduced (it was an anniversary of the relief of the siege of Leningrad) the St. George ribbon appeared to be less controversial.

But that's a strange comment anyway, considering that they already have frigging red stars all over their uniforms.

I hope we see those green ones in some games in the future too.

Also I love their fan stuff in #91 store. I think they are doing really good quality with their logo, jersey and stuff.

Ya totally agree. All of it really great looking stuff. Always loved that winking Jester logo. One of the best in hockey world~wide. Iconic.

The Tiger Logo has unique black-orange colors. Thats very VERY important for KHL. I just hope they will not put tiger's head on blue (or red, or white, or green) jersey.
