Going there for buying some stuff would be too expensive i think, although a trip to Omsk would be nice... I don't know a lot about Omsk though, and how much it has to offer in for "tourists" ..

Omsk is actually quite a nice city, nothing spectacular but nice. Some russian churches and old-wooden houses in the city centre one can visit. I have been there last december visiting a game against Vityaz, it was -30, so i kept the sightseeing at a minimum. But what really makes it special are the friendly, open and hockey-crazy people. All in all, a trip would be worth it + you get the merchandise

It's not really sad. They significantly improved the logo they were originally promoting, so the voting helped them to make a better choice.
