Looks good, but I kinda think people around the club loves their green and blue. As good as your elephant looks, it might be too modern for its own good.

You mean they love their region coat of arms colors? Because I don't think they gave their current logo much thought. Also, they have both blue and purple on their logo right now. But those colors just don't work on my logo. I tried. So the best I could do was making purple the main color.

Pardon me my ignorance: Have there been mammoth fossil findings in Khanty-Mansiysk? I googled it and found "only" an archeopark with the statues that probably inspired you, but were there actual discoveries?

It doesn't really matter since a mammoth is already a mascot of Yugra and it seems that there is no point to change it.
Ult's colours are nice, though this mammoth is a bit skinny

Oh yeah, sure they did. One of the archeopark exhibit items is a well preserved Steppe Mammoth skeleton, which was found in Khanty-Mansiysk region.

I agree, I will fix it. It's just that it's still in the early stage. I've sketched out the general proportions, perspective and whatnot.

Thanks for the support guys. But it's okay. As Ozo predicted the more traditional colors will win. All in all I'm rather happy with how my logo turned out in the end. There are things I wish I had time to improve, but colors are not one of them. There are 15 or even more blue teams in the league, and the green color is cemented by Ak Bars and Ufa. I went for something different because I want to see more diverse KHL (appearance-wise). And a team with 7 year history and a mammoth as their mascot seemed like a good choice for a purple-brownish colors. I mean who would change their colors? Dynamo? Spartak?

Hate the leading logo. It looks like a blue elephant with a silly green birthday hat. Can't remember which, but one them reminded genitalia as well.
