Just watch the games. Holl is a liability. Big guy that plays small in front of the net. Low hockey IQ. Timmins will be amazing. His stats are already better than Holl and he has played 35 fewer games. PLus Timmins plays on the PP.

I watch all the games. I just don't have blinders on.

He will be gone soon. Patience…

No he won't, and he shouldn't.

He’s now redundant and we can easily use his 3.5 expiring contract with a prospect for a 2LW or Middle D man.

The writing is on the wall.

I think on the face of things he's an obvious choice to move.

But then I remember how he stepped up after JT went down. There is a certain appeal to having 3 guys on the 3rd line that could all be 2nd liners. I'm not saying he stays but with Knies coming in this is amazing forward depth. There are adds like Schenn that wouldn't affect our cap at all.

In the end Dubas is full of surprises so anything is possible.

I think Knies gets dealt. We are all in.

There is no way that is our only move.

Maybe.

Meier and Chychrun are the only guys left I'd trade him for and we don't have much left to make either happen. He's also exactly the type of player we need.

Time will tell.

I don't think they will spend now what it would take to move him out. Nobody is taking that cap hit without a sweetener. The logical time would have been in the O'Reilly transaction as he would have been the retention. Maybe they tried but I doubt it. The Blues could have had an NHL body back to put in their lineup but instead chose nothing? Makes no sense. The club sees some value in him but are maybe going to cherry pick his usage to get the best results.

Kerfoot is the hockey version of Charles "The Unit Killer" Marimow (fans of The Wire should get the reference)

Pre-deadline Kerfoot was killing me.

Post-deadline Kerfoot is giving me a headache and killing me...

All the turnover on the roster and Kerfoot + Holl still gonna sink this team in the playoffs.

incredible how out of his depth he is on that top line. hard to believe how he keeps getting put in those situations.

He never really had a finishing touch but whatever little finish he had, he’s completely lost it.

The effort is there at least, no denying that. But he can’t even buy a goal this year.

If Kerfoot had any semblance at all of any any finish and made $1.5m, I could maybe live with him on the 4th line.

To his credit he plays hard, can skate, and has remained remarkably healthy. He also is clearly well liked by his teammates.

While he doesn't fit my 4th line player attributes on the mark, on the 4th line with limited minutes I think he could be some value, but for $3.5 million, he does not belong anywhere in our Top 6, and he really just cannot be there if we are going to be legitimate Stanley Cup contenders.

"Kerfoot can't score in a soccer net"

-Justin Bourne, March 7 Leafs Talk Podcast

Also this Tweet from last night:

Kerfoot lacks finish, is playing nowhere near his contract, and is frustrating to watch most nights. But he has heart, and heart is what I want in the playoffs.
