This whole season has been a microcosm of what it has been like for the last couple of decades being led by Clarke, Holmgren, and the flavor of the month GM crony. Instead of trying to see what a winning strategy is in today's NHL, they embrace the Jim Carrey line from Dumb and Dumber..."so you are saying there is a chance". They have zero foresight. They wasted a call-up and on a career ECHLer, when there would have been plenty of time to evaluate him next year (they could have rewarded him with an NHL deal without calling him up). Hodgson waited this long what is another 5-6 months? To make matters worse, if Konecny was not sick he would have been benched in favor of a another management favorite - Thompson, who was not even good in the CHL way back when. They wasted 2 more call-up slots on players that were never going to play for the Phantoms again. The Phantoms are not making the playoffs and anyone who watches them know they are bigger dumpster file than the Flyers. What are the chances the Flyers ever draft a player like Zegras. Boy is he fun to watch, as opposed to the 200ft snooze-fest the Flyers prefer. I wouldn't be surprised to see Clarke try to propose a rule banning the lacrosse goal....."This is hockey. If you want to do that then play Lacrosse!"......

Wow the lack of hockey awareness by some people is astounding , He was a Veteran in the room to teach the next generation of young stars how to be a pro . He most likely retires at the end of the season with his 1000+ streak and next year Kessel will sign a league minimum deal somewhere and over take his record . Now however every player and up coming youngster will know the Flyers f***ed him for no reason , if they were in a battle for a playoff spot then yes thats one thing , then they should have cut his nuts 2 weeks ago when he could still finish ahead of Kessel and retire but they didn't . This is a classless move that everybody will remember for a very long time .

This isnt a charity, Yandle f***ing sucks, and none of us give a shit. He should have been benched 60 games ago before he even reached his meaningless record. They owe him no further favors.

Now take a f***ing hike.

Ah yeah, we totally want a guy that actively avoids contact to preserve his bullshit streak to teach the next generation that it’s me over we.

He can be a model to them at practice and in the locker room if he’s that great of a guy.

f***ed him over from what? Allowing him to play all season and set his bullshit record? Oh wait, they did that. If he wanted to stay in the lineup he could have simply played at an NHL level.

How many Flyers games have you watched this season? Have you seen the level at which this man is performing?

f*** Keith Yandle.

The classless move was subjecting fans of the Philadelphia Flyers to the worst defenseman in the NHL for every game of the season to this point.

No one outside of Keith Yandle's friends and family could care less about his streak. He's a terrible hockey player in 2022 and should have been benched months ago.

"Classless move that everybody will remember for a long time"... lollllllzzzzzzzzz

Yandle will barely play the rest of the season, they got him the streak, but from the team's perspective, time to move on, he's not in their future, neither is Connauton.

They'll evaluate Seeler as a LHD and decide whether to offer him a contract for next season, probably a two way deal that pays him 400K if he goes to LHV. He's what you want in a #7th D-man, can fill in for a few games, sit in the press box on road trips and allow real prospects to practice and play everyday in LHV.

The last recall could be used on Zamula (Hogberg is currently injured). They might want to look at Zamula/Attard as a preview for next season.

This must be a parody, right?

There’s no way this could be serious.

Nobody gives a shit about Keith Yandle.

If the Flyers suddenly started becoming a cup contender no one would bat an eye. People like winners in which Keith Yandle and co aren't.
