Kind of hilarious. "NHL is not what it was in the good old days/new gen are snowflakes and soft" crowd are pretty much a single circle Venn diagram in terms of people complaining about it at the same time.

Tough, team first hockey means making decisions for the team and not individuals.
It also means not getting personally affected and angry by something that is really pretty meaningless.

Wow the lack of hockey awareness by some people is astounding , He was a Veteran in the room to teach the next generation of young stars how to be a pro . He most likely retires at the end of the season with his 1000+ streak and next year Kessel will sign a league minimum deal somewhere and over take his record . Now however every player and up coming youngster will know the Flyers f***ed him for no reason , if they were in a battle for a playoff spot then yes thats one thing , then they should have cut his nuts 2 weeks ago when he could still finish ahead of Kessel and retire but they didn't . This is a classless move that everybody will remember for a very long time .
Keith Yandle flat out sucks. If this does paint them in a bad light, they only have themselves to blame for pandering to an existing player and signing him in the first place. Just like the trade for Ellis this transaction had disaster written all over it from the beginning. These moves plus how he flat out screwed up the post deadline call-up allotment are head scratchers. The fact that the Flyers brain dead GM couldn't see any of this coming is the main cause for concern here.

It’s weird they are benching him for Seeler. They were fine with York playing GM his off side with Yandle, but Attard can’t play his natural side with Yandle? It’s very odd.

Oh please, Yandle shouldn't have ever played again after the first month of the season. The record is fake, he's an ECHL caliber player who has spent the whole year dodging contact and plays to avoid injuries and chase his precious record. He's a selfish scumbag and deserves this and also the end of his career. He is a humiliation and a joke. Supporting him is pathetic.

If you care so much start a letter writing campaign for your team to start him on a new streak next year and let's see how you feel after watching him.

Yandle will barely play the rest of the season, they got him the streak, but from the team's perspective, time to move on, he's not in their future, neither is Connauton.

They'll evaluate Seeler as a LHD and decide whether to offer him a contract for next season, probably a two way deal that pays him 400K if he goes to LHV. He's what you want in a #7th D-man, can fill in for a few games, sit in the press box on road trips and allow real prospects to practice and play everyday in LHV.

The last recall could be used on Zamula (Hogberg is currently injured). They might want to look at Zamula/Attard as a preview for next season.

Was getting him the streak good management?
