Kapanen for the 15 oa is a good deal. Kapanen is a young middle six player with a low cap hit and with ties to the Pens, who i suspect will do well there. A 15? Nice, but not ready for 3 years at a minimum, if ever. A guy like a Schneider might be ready for 21-22...maybe... but he is a meat and potatoes type.

He’s really good as a depth role player. Can pk, fights, breakaway speed obviously. Never was put in the position to be an offence first player.
End of the day you get a gritty and well rounded player with elite speed. Potential is still there for top 6 point production
